a strategic stop before a comedy show at the Bell Centre. Downtown, arena-adjacent dining can sometimes be… let’s call it “efficient rather than exceptional.” Our expectations were… guarded.

We were wrong.

From the first bite of the Drunken Noodles, we realized this was no pre-show compromise. The spice level had just enough swagger to wake up the palate without sending us into a panic-induced milk-chugging spiral. The vegetables were beautifully cooked — vibrant, crisp-tender — and the noodles were deeply savory and generous. When I say generous, I mean the portion could reasonably feed two hungry adults, and still leave you negotiating a few final bites. We tried. We failed.

The green curry was equally rich, fragrant, and comforting.

The Mango Sticky Rice cocktail nearly stole the entire evening. Sweet, tropical, and indulgent. It was dessert and drink all at once.

For a downtown location, steps from the arena, the pricing felt almost suspiciously reasonable. Two hearty mains, a standout cocktail, and we walked out very full and comfortably under $100 for two people.

What began as a convenient pit stop turned into a genuinely memorable meal — the perfect (and unexpectedly delicious) opening act to our night.

What a treat – for your eyes and your taste buds!
Went to this restaurant for Christmas lunch with the family. We were greeted and promptly seated by our server Anne. She offered a few suggestions and everything that was served on the table was outstanding. We’ll definitely come back for more when in the area. Highly recommended!

Had a pleasant experience at this Thai restaurant in Montreal!

I went with a few friends for dinner at Siam for dinner. I ordered the green curry with braised beef and a chocolate lava cake for dessert. The braised beef was tender and flavorful. The green curry was not overly spicy, just perfect for my spice tolerance. The chocolate lava cake was enjoyable too, liked the scoop of ice cream on top.

The decor and ambiance was quite nice. I like the dimmer lighting and it wasn’t not overly loud inside the restaurant.

Service was really good! Our waiter Frederique was very welcoming and walked us through the menu at the start as it was our first time at the restaurant. Always dropped by and checked on how the food was. There was also someone in a white collared shirt walking around all the tables checking on how the dinner experience was going, I appreciated that, I think he might’ve been the manager.

Food came out in a reasonable time considering we were a party of 6 people.

Overall, I recommend Siam restaurant!

My friend and I tried the Montréal à Table menu back in November and we were shocked at how big the portions were for the price. Everything was really delicious and affordable. We’ll be back soon to try the rest of the menu. The service was really quick and nice on a busy Saturday night.

Stunning! Fresh, bright flavors in all the food items I had.
✅The tom yum soup, while lighter on coconut milk than I am accustomed to, and sans mushrooms, was chock fill of lemongrass, lime, and just the right amount of chili flake.
✅The pad mee was so lovely with its vegetables crisp, vermicelli noodles with perfect bite, and a generous portion of chicken. I, in fact, could not finish the portion on my own.
✅I finished with the sorbet and found them delicious without being overly sweet.

Would absolutely return to Siam, and would recommend it to anyone.

Don’t get fooled by the name, it’s a bar and lounge, not quite a Thai restaurant. It’s what they call a fine dining experience. There’s an indoor entrance from the hotel Warwick Le Crystal, so reservations are expected– especially at night when it can get really packed. Has a nice atmosphere if you’re looking for fancy places. I usually go there for the dessert only, they have a truly nice crème brûlée.

Wow. What a meal. Went here for my partners birthday – as it is her favourite restaurant in MTL – and was so impressed. Food was spot on perfect. Can even make modifications to the menu, albeit with a fee, but would rather that than not being able to get the meal at all. Shrimp thai green curry was exceptional, and our 2 noodle dishes (shrimp pad mee and pad see ew) were brilliant. Service was amazing too, very on it. Even brought out a comp birthday cheesecake with a sparkler in. Mocktails were very good too, great options for those who don’t drink. Overall, can’t wait to go back.
Only thing i’d say is to add prices to online menu!

Semi-fine dining at an incredible price point – a rare find!

The default 4-course meal for $50 is an absolute steal. Getting this level of quantity and quality at a 5-star restaurant is extremely rare. In my opinion, it’s easily enough food for two people. I’d actually recommend ordering just one of these for two, plus a separate main dish if you feel you need more.

The “Mango Sticky Rice” cocktail is one of my favourite cocktails in all of Montreal. It’s a little on the sweet side, but when paired with spicy Thai food, it becomes a truly heavenly combination.

Even some of the best cocktail bars in the city- with drinks priced at $25–30 -felt subpar compared to the experience of this $17 cocktail.

Every time I visit Montreal, I always go to Siam centre-ville or the one at Quartier Dix30. This time we were at the downtown location and had an amazing experience. Our server, Oliver, was super helpful and accommodating. He was also friendly very knowledgeable of the menu. Our group had a great time.
My favourite dish is beef paneng curry. Their appetizer platter also never disappoints.
We tried the mango sticky rice mocktail and loved it, as well as the lychee sangria was crisp and light – went well with the food.
Highly recommend this restaurant and will be back asking for Oliver the next time we come into town.

This restaurant has always been on my list to try, instantly underwhelmed after first few bites.
The meat were not fresh and tasted stale, which was a huge disappointment.
I ordered chicken wings for appetizer- they came rock hard. Felt like they were leftover or something you get from cheap buffet. 5pc for $17 it’s daylight robbery, do better yall. 1/10
Duck confit in red sauce— the duck itself was packaged separately from the sauce which was great. However, the duck meat was not fresh. Sadly it also tasted like it was left on the counter overnight. The red sauce was sweet, it has lychees in it. I questioned the authenticity of this dish, but it was a pleasant surprise. Not worth $33 imho. 3.5/10
Papaya Salad was the only dish I enjoyed. Good balance between sour, sweet, and salty. 7/10

I placed my order on the resto site itself for delivery, the food still arrived 30min late from ETA.

Not to mention names, but you can find handful of Thai restaurants in the city that serve better quality authentic Thai food for lesser price. The order was $75+ tips, I’d take my business elsewhere next time.
