Had dinner here with some of my siblings. They said it’s the closest thing in Chandler to El Paso style Mexican food. And yes, very good food and friendly service. We went here because it was my mother’s favorite. I like that they have horchata. And the horchata is very good.

In all the food was very good. I got a chimichanga and it did not come with sour cream or guacamole which I found odd. Portion was just right but seem a bit expensive to me for the size. The sopaipilla was delicious, the kids loved them.

The $8.95 Lunch is back! The entrees in the picture comes rice, refried beans, and soft drink or iced tea, and sopaipilla for dessert. Delicious Southwestern style Mexican food in a full service restaurant all for less than you would pay for fast food!

I appreciate people showing up to work but it seems some employees tend to pull the weight of all the others who move around like slugs. 20 minutes to get water is soooo not good. We almost left. I think we were pulled into a trance of watching many workers walk by like they had nowhere to be and nothing to do. When we finally got water and ordered drinks, it was a joke to think you may get a refill. My margarita on the rocks was spendy and not good. Tasted like those pre-mixed things you buy at the store. My Carne asada tacos were loaded with meat, which was good, but there’s not hot sauce here so I had to ask for more salsa since the tacos were just shells and meat. No minced tomato and onions etc, but they do give you about a tablespoon each of guacamole, cilantro, sourcream and diced onions on the side. So my tacos were good but the other 7 people at the table just picked at their plates. I’ve never seen so much food and not a single person wanted a to go box of leftovers. OH the chips green salsa and beans were good. Everyone ate those. So, since we’re all different, you may like this place but I’m pretty sure I won’t go back.
