The reason this is getting a low star is because we got recommended and was disappointed, we went on a Sunday and they have a “special” going on where you get a adult ENTREE and the kids meal would be 2 dollars that’s exactly what it says on the papers. I ordered a 19 dollar meal and when I got the bill she charged me the kids meal, and when I asked about it she told me I have do order a soda with it. I explained to her that it doesn’t say that it just says entree. My daughter and I are both water drinkers she didn’t even get a drink with her meal. Some people drink water with their meal. She told me it didn’t matter and that you have to get a drink so I wet ahead and got a drink since we had to. But if you guys are going to have a “special” let’s make sure it says enter and a drink because it’s very misleading.

Recently moved from the West Coast, my wife and I made a pact to try as many restaurants as possible in town, avoiding repeats until we felt we had explored them all—or at least the ones that interested us.
But we broke our rule. We’ve been to this place three times in four weeks.
The food here is different. At first glance, it might seem like just another Mexican restaurant serving the usual dishes, but after years of eating at Mexican restaurants and 24-hour taco shops across CA, AZ, and TX, I can say this place stands out.
The food tastes good. I’ve had the El Jefe and Surf and Turf burritos, both generously sized and packed with flavor. The same goes for their tacos.

Excellent! Ordered the Cadillac Margarita, which was very good and the Tacos DE PESCADO, which was excellent. I subbed out the beans for fried plantains, which were delicious as well. Rice is sort of like the cilantro lime rice you get at Chipotle, only better. Slow Wednesday evening, not many people in there, but food was out quickly and served hot. Alex, my server, was attentive and pleasant. First time visit for me but will definitely be back.

The quesadilla on the menu lists 7 ingredients. When it came to the table it had only the tortilla and cheese. When I asked the server about it she said “you have to order protein to get the other ingredients.” It does not say that anywhere on the menu. I pointed that out and was met with a shrug. No dressing was brought for the salad of one of my party and no tortilla’s brought for another’s fajitas. $21 for chicken fajitas that came sizzling but only the iron dish was hot. No one was offered a drink refill. It was a very quiet Sunday afternoon so I should have recognized this isn’t a popular place. I’m giving 2 stars because this is my first time there so I don’t know about any other of the dishes they serve. I won’t be back so my true opinion is 1 star.

My husband and I tried Si Senor in Porters Neck. This was our first time. We absolutely loved it! The atmosphere, the food and attentive service was more than we anticipated. My garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette was amazing and beautifully presented. This was not your normally boring house salad as you will see in the photo. You can add protein also. Hubby ordered the chicken and beef burritos. Can’t remember the name of it. We will definitely be back Thank you Chris and the kitchen staff and manager for a great and relaxing date day! We have not had one in awhile. So glad we picked you. See you soon!

I had the Pollo Gallego as they recommended and Chris had Enchiladas Si Senor. Go here! You won’t regret it! Just excellent in every way! Our last visit Sunday at around 2:30 June 26th. Thank you for the kind gentleman and Manager that helped us.And the outstanding kitchen staff. You all are amazing!
I went again the other day and had again the best service! Thank you Andreas, JJ and Juan. The salad is so amazing but may try something different today. I will ask as they are always great to offer suggestions. You guys are rock stars!

Thank you Andres and staff again!! I asked him to order for us. He suggested the Ancho Beef Short Rib with onions mixed peppers and sweet Plantains. It was awesome as everything is here. My husband loved it too! Spot on as always!
We went again today Oct. 13th. Andres took our order and sweet as always. Juan was our chef. We had the Ground Beef Burrito and it was huge! So good! Ordered the Classico Ceviche. It was great but could use some avocado and flour tortillas which I added. But to top it off had the Fried Avocado Frita. So awesome! Love the selections here and amazing service!

Hands down the bests Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to, the food was incredible they really understand texture and flavor , it was levels of crisp, fresh, sweet, spicy, savory delight, atmosphere was very “modern mex” , clean good lighting and decor, service was great and quick, I was in town for a job and will be making trips out of my way to come down to eat here again, if I could give a higher review I would

This is probably the best Mexican food I have had in this town! Everything is super fresh and well presented. The tortilla soup was amazing and the short rib soft taco…so good. I went about a week ago and they had a $10 lunch special which was probably enough food for two, but my husband and I each got one and ate it all! Not sure how long the special will be around for, go try it out soon and enjoy! Oh, and the staff were very helpful and friendly (our server was Gina).
