Just a white guy from Vegas, but I have had a ton of Mexican food. Good and not so good. I have had it homemade from Mexican friends which is the best.
Si Senor is about as close as I have come to that.
It is legit good. I will post a picture but you can’t taste the picture. The picture will look like a normal burrito but I assure you it is different.
Diablo burrito is what I had. Excellent, spicy but not over powering, excellent flavor.
I do like spicy so maybe not for everyone but try something else. My guess is it will also be excellent!
Went back recently and tried the three enchiladas. Also very good.
I go back every time I am in town.

I absolutely love this family-owned restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and appreciated. The atmosphere is warm, the service is genuine, and you can truly tell they take pride in everything they do.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with love — you can taste the difference! The staff treats you like family, not just another customer, and that made the whole experience even better.
It’s rare these days to find a place that puts their heart into every plate and every interaction, but this restaurant does exactly that. I will definitely be returning and recommending it to everyone I know.

The food is so so good. I have discovered this place just 1 week ago and have gone twice! Love the bean dip with the fresh salsa and warm homemade chips. I tried the shrimp Baja tacos and the chicken and shrimp fajitas… delicious! The rice and beans are fabulous. I’m picky when it comes to good eats especially Mexican food and I’m so happy this place exists in Bakersfield. Throwing my birthday dinner here

We had a wonderful lunch here yesterday (fajitas salad with steak, if I remember correctly). Our server was friendly and prompt, with just the right level of attention. The chef is a culinary artist. The salad arrived with pieces of marinated steak hot off the grill, but the lettuce was fresh and crisp, something of a challenge with a dish of that sort.

Very friendly service! We went around 2pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy. The cook would come out and make sure everything tasted good and if we had any questions. Very big portions so you definitely pay for what you get. Food quality was good as well.

Absolutely loved this place! Never heard of cucumber jalapeño margaritas! So refreshing, great palate cleanser. Got the combo 2 item chili relleno and sopes asada. Oh my word was so good! The rice was my favorite of all places I’ve been to! I usually don’t eat the rice but couldn’t stop.
My mom is really picky about her ice tea and asked for a soda instead. Jennette our waitress was so awesome, she brought the soda and a new ice tea just in case there wasn’t enough ice. She was an absolute gem!
I wanted some extra hot sauce and she brought me a ligit habenaro salsa that was divine! Just what I wanted! No tapatio, ligit house made extra hot salsa! Can’t say enough of how awesome the service and food was! Must try yall!

I had the carnitas plate with rice and beans, a shrimp plate and a steak plate. The plate exceeded my expectations, the food was delicious and fresh! I came during happy hour and service was great. Loved that the restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious.

Despite arriving promptly and being ready to place our order, we were overlooked by the waiter who seemed disinterested in assisting us. What made matters worse was witnessing the waiter take the order of another customer who arrived after us. “In spite of initial setbacks with the service, I’m grateful that another waiter stepped in to take our order . Despite the hiccup, our dining experience improved, and we were able to enjoy our meal. While the initial delay was disappointing, the proactive response from the other waiter salvaged our experience. The food was delicious, and we appreciate the efforts made to rectify the situation. Thank you to the attentive waiter lady who ensured our meal went smoothly.”
