Our first time here and it was GREAT!!!! I got the salmon lunch and hubs got the chicken enchiladas. Both were Very good but the house made tortilla chips were outstanding!!!! The prices are super affordable too!

Stopped in headed home to El Paso after reading all the good reviews. We got the gorditas and nachos supreme. There was quite literally zero flavor on everything. The food was so unseasoned and blamed we didn’t bother finishing. Maybe the other items are better but definitely don’t recommend getting either of those and definitely not worth the added hour to the road trip.

I should start by saying I’m only ok with Mexican food. I said Hispanic while speaking with another dinner and she corrected me, “Mexican”. Our platers were full and flavorful. The restaurant is nicely appointed and very clean. The service was ok, could have been more attentive.

Their Mexican food seems fine, old fashioned prep, good enough for a stop. However, DO NOT stray from that side of the menu. I was craving a chicken fried steak so bad, that I broke my rule of not ordering American food at a Mexican food place. I paid heavily for that misstep. What I got was a small processed “something other than meat” patty. Think of a bad school cafeteria plate. It was BAD!!! You just have to be warned. The whole plate was a bad joke. Sorry to sound like a “Karen” but this has to be said. Maybe they’ll listen and change.

For the last two times we have stopped to eat as we travel through Demming we have always had great food, I specifically go for the gorditas cause you can’t get them in AZ, I don’t know if they got a new cook or what but they have been very disappointing the last couple of times we have stopped to eat, needless to say our dinner stops in Demming have come to an end. So sad because that was the place that had the best gorditas I had ever had.

Exceptional service. Despite being a packed restaurant, our drinks were never empty, and our servers squeezed our order in before the very large group next to us.
Both red and green chile has been on the spicy side this season, so ask for it on the side if you’re unsure.
The shredded beef was seasoned perfectly. All 4 of us greatly enjoyed our entrees and even ordered extra sopapillas.
We Ordered: All entrees were served with rice and beans, and a side sopapilla.
1. Beef enchiladas, christmas, add on egg sunny side up
2. Beef Combination plate – taco, taquito, enchilada
3. Beef enchilada, green chile, add on egg sunny side up
4. Stuffed sopapilla with shredded beef, green chile
