WOW!!! What a lovely lunch I had here!!! I truly had no idea what to expect, except for that it was good, per what other people have said. It was so much more than I expected, which was just a simple restaurant!!
First, I cannot recommend their lunch deals enough. They had a lunch menu that was super affordable and full of great meal options, a dim sum menu, and a happy hour menu for the bar section of the restaurant, full of other options. I had a pork dumplings from the dim sum menu and the bang bang shrimp from the happy hour menu. both were phenomenal and I was very pleased. There are so many things that I wanted to try and unfortunately, I just could not because everything was filling and a good price for the quantity! They also have a really lovely wine selection, which stood out to me, as it wasn’t just the basic stuff that you can find at any department store. You could tell that it was a very intentionally curated wine list. All of the wines by the glass were half-priced during happy hour, which made them super well-priced for the quality of wine! It was awesome!!!
Second, the employees and servers were so friendly, attentive, and helped to create a calming experience. They treated me with a lot of respect, care, and patience. I wanted to stay and read for a bit while enjoying a glass of wine after I paid and they were happy to give me the space and time. They checked in on me, informed me of all the deals, gave me suggestions, and took truly great care of me. I was very happy with them and the experience they created.
Finally, the atmosphere!!! Again, I had no idea what to expect, but was so amazed by the restaurant. It was absolutely beautiful on the inside. I truly had no idea what I was walking into and it was just stunning. The decorations were cozy, but felt elevated, like a fancy place. Plus, I visited during December so it looks like there were lovely Christmas decorations everywhere, the fireplace was lit, and piano covers of seasonal music.
I went in thinking I was just gonna grab a quick lunch deal and I literally had the most lovely 1.5 hours. I cannot recommend Shun Lee enough. Everything was pretty, clean, tidy, and taken care of. Everything was wonderful, from the food to the wine to the price to the servers to the beautiful restaurant. ❤️

I ordered the Kung Pao chicken, and it was outstanding. The vegetables were incredibly fresh and full of flavor, with a perfect balance of spice. Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in Lexington! The atmosphere was elegant, and the staff was very attentive. A wonderful place to enjoy with friends and family. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Absolutely perfect for our Christmas Dinner as a family. We ordered a little bit of everything with a group of 12. Our server was a young man that was very attentive and never left us wanting. My wife and I had tried the place out a few weeks earlier to make sure of the place and there were no disappointments.

We had the BEST waiter, Fahim! Besides providing excellent service as our waiter, he was also really great at making mocktails. Probably some of the best mocktails we have had! The atmosphere felt like upscale asian dinning. They also had some tasty unique dishes that you don’t find at other local Chinese restaurants.

We had the best experience at Shun Lee in October 2025. The food is so fresh and handmade. The flavors are incredible. The service was outstanding. And the atmosphere is high-end, beautiful. Such a nice place for a date night or to take family and friends for a special outing. Very yummy! We’ll be back!

My wife & I ate here for the first time recently and it was excellent. Best Chinese meal I’ve had in ages. The kung pao shrimp, sweet & sour chicken, hot & sour soup & egg rolls were all great. The server was very efficient & very nice. This is Chinese food on a higher level than you’ll get from a typical carry out place. Shun Lee will be one of our regular places to go now.
