This little hole in the wall place is a real fooler. Nothing fancy inside but the food and the service is fantastic. We had the jumbo brisket sandwich with coleslaw slaw and some tater logs. Loved the slaw but the brisket was juicy and flavorful and took it up a notch with the spicy BBQ sauce was the perfect touch. This is an interesting stop and I recommend you try it.

Got there a few minutes after they open ordered a half pound brisket. Got my order pulled off. Went to check my order and the brisket is ice cold went back and He said the help forgot to warm it up that he sliced it fresh I don’t think anybody wants to be served brisket that way or to bring it back and have it microwaved and hand back to you with no kind of apology or anything this is my third time coming here. Sorry to say it’ll be my last. This whole experience made me lose my appetite $20 down the drain.

We recently hired this company to cater our wedding. First off the atmosphere of the original location on signal mountain is just so unique and one of a kind. The atmosphere is only surpassed by the guy that runs it. Jeff is the genuine article, from the moment we talked on the phone and he invited us up to try out some of his amazing food we hit it off. Just a really nice person and the real deal. We had a great conversation about options for food and he also made some recommendations of items we probably would not have thought to have at the wedding. Communication was open and honest and Jeff was always available to get back to me on additions or questions we had. Once the reception actually took place he was so thoughtful and friendly with me and my family that he felt like one of the guests that just so happened to bring a TON of food with him! We will definitely be back to his restaurant in the future and it will be a absolute must for any of our friends or family that come to visit. Thanks again Jeff!

THE BEST BBQ in Tennessee. Incredibly friendly and down to earth people. Family-owned and the food is made fresh in-house. Everything I ate was fantastic. If you come here, make sure you try the banana pudding and the home fries with the Cajun seasoning. This is my new must visit whenever I’m in Chattanooga!

This photo is my choice when I go in….loaded pork baked potatoes with slaw on it & Dr Pepper and boy it fills the belly but so delicious I usually eat it all. This is a must for everyone to go at least once. My opinion it’s the best BBQ around Chattanooga

I had my first meal here in 2009 I have been a regular ever since. I have never had a subpar experience here. My late husband and I are retired military, subsequently have moved a lot. This was always our very favorite barbecue joint. The ambience is fun. The food is always great. The real draw here though it is the people. Jeff could not be any sweeter and he hires well. He is one of just a few of people that do not kick my PTSD into high gear. Truly a kind soul.

I was asked if I wanted my brisket cold? And then was told they would reheat it. It had very little flavor, only a little bit of it was tender, and most of it tasted like a roast. The turkey on the other hand looked and tasted like it was just boiled in a pot of water with no seasoning. Very disappointing.

Excellent bbq at good prices with friendly staff. Stopped by while passing through Chattanooga today and ordered a half pound of brisket and a half pound of pork. Jeff was kind and helpful loves what he does. Would recommend to anyone looking for real old school bbq.

Didn’t look like much from the outside which is how I knew I needed to try it. Glad I did! Had the brisket sandwich and it was awesome. Owners are very friendly too.

I’ve been trying for decades to find ribs as good as the one’s I first had at my small hometown bbq joint when I was a boy. My quest is finally at its end. Thank you.
