Shuckin oyster is the spot, atmosphere is awesome and the wait staff will make your day especially if you get the dude with the red beard. I told him I’m bad remembering name it’s Matt I think. I know it starts with an M…but he’s handsome with the red beard and full of personality. I live in Charlotte and everytime I’m in Greenville this is my go to spot for good food and great service. Keep it up young man. I hate I can’t remember his name, if you visit you will understand.

I was visiting from Texas for work, and this was close to my hotel. I had steamed shrimp, ahi, beer, more beer and more steamed shrimp. interesting demographic of mostly over 60 divorcee types I guess? they were playing bingo. service was great, food was perfect (shrimp were cooked perfectly, no rubber shrimp here) and seasoned perfectly. beer was cold. I didn’t play bingo, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. prices seemed very reasonable. I would return again if I was in the area. I had a good time, and didn’t even play bingo.

My first visit to this place. Overall it was good. The staff was semi friendly. Better to interact with customers than to be on your phone, but to each their own. Clean overall. The food was served hot. Fried pickles and burger were good. I’d go back. I need to try the oysters next!

I bragged to coworkers when we were in town to dine here.
Unfortunately, the last 4 times I came here, the menu changed. On top of that, the prices have changed to, “market price.” That was majority of the better foods we enjoyed. The menu got less items and not the ones we liked.
On this particular day, we ordered the Mahi Fingers appetizer, which was delicious but we decided to go somewhere else for the main course.
The service here is always exceptional, that’s the reason I gave a 3 star overall.

Marshall was amazing! We came for a birthday party and he was amazing. He was the only person waiting in tables and rocked it! His service and the food were awesome. Food and drinks were out in a timely manner!

The service was very slow. It maybe because they were training someone, because other servers seem to be moving at a pretty good pace.
Overall I would try it again and maybe do take out next time. Or sit at the bar.

Our server Donny was fantastic, his energy made my night, he had a contagious high energetic good vibe. The food was delicious really high quality fresh sea food with no worry of getting sick. The lobster rolls were to die for. The oysters were mouth watering and just delightful. our server made the whole experience worth coming to the restaurant. Definitely recommend visiting.
