Upscale oyster bar at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel featuring a seafood-focused menu, wine & cocktails.

Visited Shuckers before a show nearby and had a nice raw seafood focused meal. We tried several different options and overall each dish ranged from decent to great, with the (not raw seafood) onion rings interestingly being the clear winner. Prices I felt were a bit higher than even Seattle standards, and I didn’t adore the style of oysters available. Service was top notch however. Would come back and try some of their cooked fish options.

Was here for New Year’s Eve and the food was Delicious, wonderful drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff made the experience even better—highly recommend! I can’t wait for reopening.

We always have the BEST time at Shuckers. I love coming here for dinner with my girl friends and just grabbing a dozen oysters, a bottle of champagne and yapping. The old school atmosphere can be so sexy and the service is outstanding. Chris is THE BEST, we always hope to sit in his section or at the bar.
Also the baked oysters and the lobster Mac & Cheese is a MUST!

This was my first (and likely last) visit to Shuckers, located inside the Fairmont Hotel in Seattle, and I was stunned by how poorly executed the food was. My daughter and I stopped in after reading strong reviews and thought it would be a safe bet.
We ordered the halibut fish and chips after seeing the table next to us receive a generous portion that looked perfect for sharing. What arrived at our table was nothing like that—our dish was smaller, underwhelming, and frankly embarrassing for a restaurant tied to a luxury brand like the Fairmont. The fact that this plate was even allowed to leave the kitchen shows a lack of quality control and consistency.
For a restaurant inside a Fairmont property, the standards here were shockingly low. Disappointing doesn’t even begin to cover it.

What an incredible dining experience! We started with a dozen oysters — absolute melt-in-your-mouth heaven. I haven’t had oysters this fresh and flavorful in forever.
Our server, Brent, was phenomenal — attentive, friendly, and spot-on with recommendations. He asked what kind of white wine I liked, and his choice was perfect.
For mains, we had the mushroom risotto and steamed mussels — truly some of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. Every ingredient shone through without overpowering the others — perfectly balanced and cooked with care.
I even told our server this might be the best meal I’ve ever had. So glad we found this place and we’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in town.

Of all the Shucker locations this is my favorite. Sure, it’s harder to park, especially being in the heart of P Square and game day traffic + crowds, but the size and accomodation for both large or solo groups is worth it. If you have to drive there is some street parking but limited and garages blocks around it. I prefer to walk, bus, or Lyft. When they are busy be very direct and specific with what you need and want from the wait person. And if you bring your own grower Champagne or wine (me, from fatcork) ask for a bucket with ice immediately. Don’t wait 15 minutes like I did (by assuming they’d bring you one). The corking fee is average and comparable to other restaurants (price of a moderate bottle of wine). Regardless of any wait or crowd the amazing local, and not so local, oyster selections are spectacular!! If you order the clams or mussels the bread is a must because the broth is THAT GOOD!! And if you order the Caesar salad one serving is gigantic so it’s definitely good for 2! I love this place and the oysters so I just plan on going when there’s no game going on.

I loved my experience at Shuckers! The oysters, wine, and cioppino were delicious! The broth really brought the cioppino together. Also, the black and blue tart with sour cream ice cream was very good! It wasn’t sweet and the ice cream balanced it. Shout-out to Chris – awesome waiter!

We had a stellar meal here and will be fondly thinking about it for a while. The Kusshi and Shigoku oysters were delicious. Scallop dish sounded typical but it was executed very well; seared, pillowy perfection.
All of the staff were very kind but our server Darla was DARLING! She was so friendly and attentive. She ensured our dinner experience was superb from start to finish. Cant wait to stop here again during the next visit to Seattle.
