Went here for Valentine’s Day. Our waitress was sweet & so was the person that made my drinks. The food & drinks were delicious & we had live entertainment (guy singing & playing piano & harmonica on some songs).

This place is amazing!! We went there for surf and turf. I ordered the surf and turf 10z filet and shrimp, my husband order crab cakes. We split both dishes, that filet was so tender you didn’t need a knife, the fried crab cakes awesome. Everything had a great taste and it was a great change from your ordinary steak place. My husband had the clam chowder and he said it great. Can’t wait to go back. Guy and his lovely wife Robin do a great job with this locally owned business.

Robin has been an absolute blessing to work with. All the meals provided were more than enough for our team. A HUGE Thank you to both her and her staff for helping us with meals. They went above and beyond in hospitality, service, and meals. Highly recommend their services

Service was slow considering they weren’t busy! Baked potato wasn’t warm enough to melt the butter! Jerk shrimp appetizer is delicious! We each had the grilled shrimp entree with Cajun seasoning. It was wonderful! My husband got grilled mixed vegetables with his meal and they were really good!

Shuckers catered our company holiday party this past weekend and hands-down it exceeded all expectations. The owners and staff were so attentive and supportive, food arrangement (holiday decorations on the veggie and cheese tray) were impressive, food was spectacular and all around fantastic experience. All of our staff continued commenting even when returning to work on Monday on how much they liked the food and what a great time they had. Thank you Shuckers for helping make our event memorable, and for the excellent food and service. Can’t wait to use Shuckers again for an event.

This is always my go-to restaurant if I want something good to eat in Saint Albans. Truly a little gem that needs even more praise. Always stellar portions, generous staff that remember your face, and perfectly executed seafood. I went to the beach recently comparing all of the restaurants to Shuckers, and honestly I can say not a single one topped this little gem. I always highly recommend if you want a nice steak, oyster po-boy, pasta, or even a delicious seafood platter. Truly a 5/5.

With 4 of us dining we had quite a lot of food come to the table. With that being said, it was all wonderful especially the deep fried scallops. They were perfection on a plate. Order an extra serving of the jerk shrimp appetizer because once you taste them one order is not enough. The scampi pizza was amazing also. Along with the fried corn.
The servers were courteous and very attentive. To be extremely busy refills came quickly as did each of the dishes we ordered. We will definitely be returning and recommending them to everyone we know

A hidden gem, Shuckers, located in St. Albans,WV. They have an awesome surf and turf dinner. We were there for lunch. I got a cup of clam chowder and had the Crab stuffed mushrooms. Enjoyed them immensely. Hubby had the Slim Shady sub and bacon cheese fries. He said it reminded him of the Slim Jim sandwich from Shoneys. He always liked those sandwiches. Our waiter Matt was great. We used to go here a few times a month when we lived in St. Albans.

If you have not tried Shuckers for brunch, you are truly missing out. We had the shrimp and grits, chicken & waffle pizza, the spicy blood mary and the caramel apple mimosa. Everything was beyong delicious!! This was our first time for brunch, but it DEFINITELY will not be our last.

Food was super bland. Stuffed mushrooms was nothing but cream cheese, lobster bisque had no lobster, and corn on the cob wasn’t even edible. Waiter didn’t acknowledge any complaints so we were basically stuck with the bad food. $150 down the drain
