The food and drink are phenomenal. The decor is neat but the acoustics not so good. It’s hard to hear your own party and the servers in my opinion. But definitely enjoyed going and would go again. I tried the shmac n cheese with pulled pork. It was listed under “small plates.” It’s not small. It’s a lot of delicious food piled on a tray. Would go again. Small building and not much parking but there’s a public lot you can walk from.

Had a great experience for lunch a ShuBrew. Fair prices, unique menu items, and excellent service. My only issue is the atmosphere/decor could be a little more cohesive. It’s lacking an image a bit but the food and super kind and helpful staff makes up for it. I will dream about the shloaded fries! Splitting hairs – the beet salad could use more goat cheese and maybe some micro greens and wings needed maybe 30 seconds more in the fryer but the flavors were on point!

The food and beer are good for what they are (gastropub fare), if not a little pricey for the area. I take a family of 4 there about 3 weekends a month. That’s often, I think, and the total bill with tax, tip, and 3% markup for credit card use (I DISLIKE THAT) takes the dinner bill routinely to about $120. I really should start carrying cash just for this place…
But what I have been continually astonished by is their amazing servers. At the very least, we’ve gotten friendly service. At best, the server treats us like we’re friends. In my experience, they have a great crew of people waiting tables there. That is the biggest standout to me, although the Gen Shu chicken keeps me coming back. For $20 a bowl (2025/26 pricing), it’s just a bit spendier than I’d expect. I’d prefer $15-$17. Then I’d go there 4 times a month!
Incidentally, the rooftop area is very busy in the warmer months, but I don’t get the appeal. It’s extremely crowded, traffic is exceptionally noisy, and you’re breathing in diesel exhaust from scores of tractor trailers the whole time. I’d recommend avoiding the area completely, but try it and see if I’m exaggerating.

I visited on Jazz Brunch day, excited to enjoy some relaxing jazz music on the weekend (I really love jazz ). . …But the experience I personally had, I did not enjoy it at all.

We enjoy good craft beer and this place has great craft beer! The selection is varied and the descriptions of their beers are accurate. This visit, we got the oinker nachos and loaded fries to share for our dinner and both were delicious. It’s a little further of a drive for us but we feel it’s worth it!!

First time going through while passing through. We were happy with everything! Cute place, great atmosphere, the food was amazing (chicken and rice bowl, Mac and cheese and the best Brussels sprouts I’ve had). The waitress was great! Can’t wait to go back!

Feel like a regular at this great brewery with a constantly changing selection. Amazing food too, which makes this an absolute gem in the area. They have fun events for regulars and welcoming public events for passerbys. Add the retro arcade cabinets and you have what is one of the coolest pub spots in Western PA.

Oh my goodness I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I loved the vibe, very much a close knit group and very involved with the community which I love. Their food is not basic, it is unique and definitely taken a lot of time to make each dish. My family and I shared multiple things including the crab Rangoon dip which was amazing and I had the shiitake happens rice bowl and it was so so good. The egg was amazing and all the flavors just worked so well together. The wings, amazing, the pizza, amazing. We got the honey pig and I’m sure everything else is amazing as well. Can’t wait to go back
