After knowingly waiting for 35 min, the food was not ready for 59 min. And it was,at best, room temp. What what you’d expect after waiting nearly an hour. Catfish filets were either cut in half or not catfish. The ketchup was so old all the moisture in the cup was gone and it took on the shape of the lid.

I placed a pick up on 1.2.26. Upon arrival of my husband bringing the food home it was incorrect and salty! I placed an order for 10 catfish and they sent 10+ over cooked small perch with little meat on them. I tried 5 times to contact them the same night . And I kept getting there voicemail. I contacted them today. And spoke with the owner Sarah, she informed me that I had to return the food for a refund or new order smh. That’s there policy. So how was I to know that when I kept getting your voicemail. I informed her I was not asking for either . Was calling in a complaint, people place orders to pay for what they ordered. So I informed her Sarah the owner. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM YOUR PLACE ! And moving forward yall be careful ordering from there as well. And check your food period. And on another note there customer service off 38th Emerson SUCKS!!

This Shrimp Hut sucks….it smells really bad, the windows are broken out, the floor is tore up, the counter tops are tore up etc….every time I place an order online it NEVER goes through, they can’t find it etc….regardless that it’s paid for in advance. I should not have to wait an additional hour for an order that was placed online an hour before…Shrimp is the fastest and easiest thing to cook…the young lady/girl at the counter is nice/nasty….yall really need to do better smh

Great food if you dont mind waiting 45 minutes for 5 catfish fillers. Also, bring your own tartar sauce or its an additional 25 minute wait. No exaggeration, was told that by the employees themselves.

My husband placed the order at 5:33pm on Friday Jan. 2, 2026. He was told it would be 45-55 minutes. TWO AND A HALF hours later he got our food. No apology. Nothing!

A bit disappointed. I’ve been here severance times and they’re really good, but always messing up something.
First time, no problems.
Second time, my food was good but they messed up my friend’s order.
Third time was good.
This time I used Uber Eats and the driver has issues then the Styrofoam was melted because the food was so hot. They should probably look into paper or bamboo packaging.
I ordered frog legs, fried chicken and perch. The food again is good, great price and everything, but if they tighten up service, they could really be dangerous.
Kaplingers on the other hand is a strong competitor.

The food is typically good here, always has been, however, the customer service here is horrible. No matter if you call in, walk in, or order online you will wait a long time for your food. Workers just don’t move with any urgency whatsoever. Once they get your money, the couldn’t care less how long you wait. Horrible.
