My chicken wings and fries were cold the shrimp was ok and the macaroni was hot but tasted bland but I can say the Jalapeño poppers with cream cheese were really good but other than that I won’t be returning it was a waste of money

This was my first time eating here, and I was seriously impressed. The food was so good, fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. I ordered the fish dinner and it hit the spot! The service was welcoming, and the staff made me feel right at home. For a first visit, everything exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and good vibes!

I am from out of town, let me start by saying some of the best places I found to eat in this country look kind of like this one from the outside, it’s in a bad part of town, the building is old and decor leaves you wondering why you came in, could use some updating to say the least. But if you get past all of that and order some of their perch, you will not be disappointed! I got four jumbo perch fillets, an order of french fries with some yummy sauce on them, a helping of coleslaw and two slices of wheat bread with a little thing of hot sauce and tartar sauce. The fish was absolutely delicious, had a very good crunchy cornbread batter on it, some of the best perch that I’ve ever eaten! And for the price you just can’t beat it $12 out the door. I will definitely be coming back.

The owner was very nice and hospitable. However, this doesn’t taste the exact same way that I remember. There was a black family who owned them. They used to be the best! Not taking away from the new owner, however I wanted to take a walk down memory lane.
