It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. Coastal vacationers demanded that Shrimp Basket expand to provide this incredible seafood value to those unable to be at the beach year round. Today, we’re happy to offer locations across the Southeast for family and friends to feel a part of the beach, dine and enjoy delicious seafood! At the Shrimp Basket, our goal is to make sure that you – our friends – leave happy and satisfied after every visit.

Nice Experience …. Although, we waited 40 mins for our food. Overall, great crew and the shrimp were definitely local fresh Gulf! Will definitely return. Dined outside, table was really wonky. Had to use quite a bit of paper towels to make steady. Very busy establishment. Could use a wee bit of attention to tables, etc. Nevertheless, I would recommend the Shrimp Basket.

The food and drinks were excellent! I’m from Detroit, MI and every time I come to Biloxi, I have to stop at this Shrimp Basket location! They never disappoint! Keisha was our server and deserves 5 stars herself. Keisha was nice, had a positive attitude, and made the best drinks! Y’all have to try the “Mermaid Water” ! I forgot to take pictures of our meals… But the appetizers are awesome as well!

We have been here twice for dinner this week and let me just say this place is amazing!! The moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile, servers an food are absolutely fantastic. Both nights we came the manager Melissa was fantastic, she was taking the time to visit every table that sat and every table she approached she just brought joy to everyone around!! I will be telling all my friends to visit to come here and cant wait to come back again!!! Great job!!!

Just an excellent little restaurant, service was amazing. The waiter was funny and very knowledgeable about the menu. He treated our family very well and we truly enjoyed going to eat there. The food was excellent! We all got something different and not one of us was looking to share because we all enjoyed it. The appetizers were perfect out well before the meal and hot. And the atmosphere was great can’t complain about the location or anything else. Y’all have a wonderful day and I hope you enjoy coming here.

Stopped in for a late lunch after a cold beach walk. We just caught the end of happy hour. The outdoor heaters kept the patio very comfortable. Drinks were as expected. We had salads, oysters on the half, and friend had a seafood platter. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was excellent and prices very reasonable. This is a regular stop for us when in town, but this particular day SB hit it out of the park! Highly recommend.

The food here was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Our waitress was very sweet! And we love the atmosphere.
My husband and I just got a plate to share. The shrimp we got was delicious and flavorful, and the funnel cake fries were delicious! We ordered them with the chocolate sauce, but our waitress gave us a cup of caramel sauce as well, she said she likes to mix them together. We’re on our honeymoon, so I’m not sure when the next time we’ll be back is, but if we’re ever in Gulf Shores, I’m gonna beg him to come here again!

Our waitress, I want to say Angela, but now i can’t remember and can’t find the receipt. (I knew I should have posted same day lol)
She was pure JOY. The place was busy but you could not tell it by her interaction.
She seemed totally calm and just getting everything done.
Giving people a great dining experience. I looked at the other servers panicked, not smiling, rushed. Granite it was busy because it was $.75 oysters. Bit she really shined above all the others.
Meanwhile The host or manager, not sure her roll… seemed to be in a full panic. Barking at people coming in that they needed to sit outside as they need to clean tables. we will get you when we are ready.
She wasn’t exactly rude just panic.
While people are trying to dine she just kept yelling out things to incoming customers and to her servers. Last thing was she was yelling hey all to the shift leaving you can’t leave u til you do this and that. Yelling it to every direction of the restaurant while we are all trying to eat.
Now it isn’t a fancy place. It is a shrimp shack but come on!! There was enough noise we don’t need management barking in the dining g room.
Why do the diners have to hear all that.
With that it made it even mad it more amazing that our server was so calm efficient and able to create a nice calm atmosphere. Truly a gem.

Hands down the BEST service! So good we visited 2 days in a row. Get the firecracker fries! They do not disappoint. Ask for Kirby she will get you right! Shoutout too to Jenny for our first night meal. So good! Will be back!

Absolutely wonderful experience at this Shrimp Basket, definitely the best one around! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Nicole was fantastic! She kept our drinks full and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was good. The food came out fast and was hot and fresh and the portions are plentiful. Looking forward to our next visit!
