Enjoyable meal they are having a lent special where its all you can eat!!! I had the popcorn shrimp basket it was delicious. Also the Boom Boom shrimp are delish . Our server was great she was pretty much handling the whole inside and still had a good attitude.

The food was ok compared to the homewood location. The understanding of the order was misunderstood even after discussing the price during taking the order. When I got miku ticket the basket was not the price we discussed. The tomatoes were mushy in the salad. As you see my book boom shrimp was not prepared or stored properly. It was full of grease in the bottom of the plate.

We all had our orders delivered in a timely manner and they were just perfect. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. I had the coconut shrimp, it is the best around. My sister and another had the crab cakes which they both loved. My other friend had the grilled shrimp, I don’t think she left any on her plate. Thank you Shrimp basket for a delicious meal and excellent service.

Enjoyed my meal! I had the shrimp and oyster basket. I like that it was a light batter and not over seasoned. It came with hushpuppies, corn fritter, shrimp slaw, and a side of your choice. I had the cheese grits. The grits were just okay. I prefer a sharper cheese than what was used. But overall I was satisfied and I will surely revisit!!

Im a Floridian and this seafood spot didn’t do it for me at all. I miss our seafood back home. I’m a traveling medical and I visit this restaurant the Fries were old I had 1 corn nugget, the oysters and shrimp were just ok. Fish was horrible. The stuff crab was good.

Shrimp Basket is basically an over priced fish cabin, but the food is good. I think it’s funny how they throw the itty-bitty shrimp into the coleslaw. If you’re allergic to shrimp, please say, “no slaw.” I visited both the Homewood (shrimp) and the Gardendale (catfish) locations in Alabama. Everything was perfectly fried and the coleslaw was fresh and crisp at both buildings. What’s with the single corn fritter? Are they trying to get you hooked? Good idea.
