Dinner at Shredder’s Smokehouse in their new location this evening. I must say, if you haven’t been and enjoy downright good food, you need to go. The pulled pork was delicious, smoked turkey on point, and the “Smokie lil devils” deviled eggs were off the chart…topped with pickled jalapeños and pork belly chunks, omg Service was top notch… super frendly, attentive and quick.

WOW, WHAT CAN I SAY! this bbq restaurant is amazing. My wife and I arrived, and the service walking in was so welcoming, and it smelled wonderful, lol. You seat yourself either inside or outside, and the servers will come to you with menus, which I very much like. The menue has a lot to choose from and not just bbq. Sandwiches to baked spaghetti to BBQ board. My wife and I orderd ALOT we started out with the bbq board which had pulled pork, pork loin, brisket, sausage, ribs, pork belly bits 2 different kinds of slaw and 4 sauces and it’s hands down the best bbq i have ever had! We also added the smoked mac and cheese and pea salad, which was the BOMB, My wife and I couldn’t stop there. We had to get some togo food. We ordered the Cuban with mac salad, baked spaghetti with garlic bread, and another pint of pea salad. Now let’s get to the decorations, it’s super cute and cozy vibe, I would of only added a little louder music just so people wouldn’t hear my loud self haha, the bathrooms were super clean which is a big deal for me.
Service was super fast and friendly. The owner came out to the table and asked how everything was! Which made us feel special, very nice guy. If you want an amazing experience and the best bbq in town, then this is the place to be!

BBQ that left me speechless. Never had such good brisket in VA. Strong bark, tender and juicy. The turkey was incredible, and sides (bbq beans and crispy slaw) were spot on as well. Desserts on the front glass looked amazing, I was just too full to try them. I guess I’ll just have to come back…
The staff was the nicest, patient and helpful, and I enjoyed the space as well. I’m so happy I found this place.

Hands down, the best BBQ of my life. Tender and juicy brisket, fall off the bone ribs, and perfectly shredded pulled pork all smoked on site! mouth watering! The delicious smokey crust with the house made sauces was perfection. Don’t even get us started on the sides: Mac n cheese, bbq baked beans, potato salad and slaw were fabulous. Don’t skip on homemade dessert! The banana pudding with a base of banana bread…chef’s kiss! 10/10!!!

WOW! Best BBQ in the valley! My husband and I tried the BBQ charcuterie board, pea salad, smoked mac n cheese, baked spaghetti, Queben sandwich, and the banana pudding. Blown away by the flavor and juiciness of the meats. We will definitely be back!!

Love it. Brisket and pulled pork plates. Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, crispy and creamy slaw. Carolina BBQ sauce. Will be back. Have been here 4 times now. Absolutely everything on the menu is . Staff is . Have to say it’s becoming my favorite place to eat. August 30,2025- wait was over an hour to get food. They were running out of everything. Some kind of private party on patio, which wasn’t marked so we were forced to leave and go inside. After sitting waited for waitress, waited for drinks and waited an hour for our food. Food was good, but I’m not sure it was an hour wait good. Sorry I had to downgrade my review. Won’t be back for quite a while.

Food, service and atmosphere all A+. Brisket was top 3 or 4 I’ve ever had and sides were also excellent. If I’m traveling down 81 again and hungry while passing Waynesboro I’ll drive the 20 minutes out of the way to eat here without a second thought.

Great food, amazing desserts, friendly staff.
We have only ordered take out but it’s always been good. I particularly liked their burnt ends and their peanut butter fluff dessert. Cool atmosphere inside and it looks like they have a back patio dining area.
