Got a salmon teriyaki bento box for lunch. This is a TOP NOTCH bento box… comes with soup, salad, salmon, rice, California roll, 1 Shumai, 1 dumpling, shrimp tempura, and vegetable tempura. All for like $20 bucks what an amazing deal. And my bf also ordered the tonkatsu meal. It was large and plenty of food!!!

This place is so cute …I just had a quick stop there but when it comes to pay the waitress was begging for her tips so I got disappointed…and the sign on the front has not been fixed for months…so I’m not sure I’ll be back…it was nice to see outside…on a sunny day…!!!

Just had the best dinner at Shoyu Sushi in Scarsdale. I’m vegan, and they have a few options for appetizers, sushi and entrees. Got the fried gyoza, vegetable roll, kampyo roll and vegetable curry and it was extremely satisfying and everything was hot and fresh. Presentation is cute and they use real wasabi paste (not horseradish). Westchester’s food scene is pretty lacking but this place definitely makes up for it. Found my new favorite Japanese/sushi place!

However, despite its posted closing time of 9:30pm on Fridays, my date and I were rushed and pressured to leave by 8:50. Our waitress actually became rude and borderline aggressive about it, dropping the check while we were still eating, and then returned to our table three times before I could pay. This nonsense was reflected in her low tip and the fact that I’ll never return.

When I showed up to this joint I saw that the sashimi combo was way cheaper then it ended up being. The price they rung me up for was almost double and I didn’t realize until I was way too far away to turn around. Buyer beware their prices do not match the menu.

after reading about this place in the WP hospital magazine , i decided to try it out with friend . I was highly disappointed. As soon as we walked in they said ” you have to hurry up and order we are closing ” it was 2:30 in the afternoon. We sat down and immediately ordered two rolls and a salad without looking at the menu. They brought out our food and we scarfed down the rolls while they hovered over us. As soon as the last piece of food hit my tongue , they scooped up the plates from underneath my still chewing mouth and replaced it with the check. When it was time to pay we explained to the waitress to split the bill, Half cash , half card. She came back very confused and we tried several times to explain it to her then another employee there. Finally with much frustration we paid with only the card and left . Overall it was a horrible experience because we were rushed , customer service was bad and we felt unwelcomed. too bad
