Showmars of Monroe has been serving fresh, made-to-order dishes, to the community since 1989 (since 1998 at our current location!). Folks tend to stop by for lunch, and enjoy our Flounder Platter – one of our most popular dishes! Showmars of Monroe is heavily involved in our local community – make sure you ask about our school and church fundraising nights. SHOW ME SHOWMARS! I absolutely positively love this restaurant! The staff is so polite and professional and the food is delightfully delicious! I ordered the regular Original Pita Burger combo w fries and the original Cherry soda (yes, the red kind that rocks) and my beautiful Samantha got a bowl of Loaded Potato Soup! Thank you SHOWMARS! We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I had dinner at the Showmars Monroe on Friday evening. I had the shrimp and flounder dinner with baked potato and she had the great fish sandwich! We really enjoyed the delicious fish! Showmars never disappoints !!

I give it a 4 for the food overall because my wife enjoyed her pita burger, the fries were hot and crisp, and the chicken and rice soup was tasty. My Gyro Pita though gets a 1. Gyro meat was very dry. Tzatziki sauce was bland and flavorless. Definitely do not recommend the Gyro Pita.

Great food. I am also pretty impressed with how quickly they get your food because they were really crowded when I went in. The manager was handing out food and helping out a lot when I was there because they were so busy. And he was incredibly polite and nice very personable. I’m not sure if he was a general manager or a shift manager or what but definitely made you feel welcome. I will definitely return to showMars

I forgot to take pictures of my food. This was my second time eating at this location. The first time I did not post about it because the people were nice and I didn’t want to give the location a bad review due to the underwhelming inside of the location and the weird smell. However the renovations definitely look really great on the outside and the inside. My Seafood was cooked with a crunch as I asked, the mixed vegetables were seasoned, and my baked potato was hot and fresh. The staff comes across very politely to everyone.

I had a $10 off of $30 coupon. I ordered a flounder and shrimp plate and a original pita burger with orings. The flounder and shrimp were crammed in a small carry out box all on top of each other. The food was not crisp at all. Actually soggy. My pita burger patty was dry and had no flavor. Very dissappointed.

I was visiting my friend and we decided to go out for lunch. She asked if I’ve been to a Showmar. I said I’ve never heard of it. She described the food and I said , let’s stop there. Dottie at the register was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I ordered the bbq and tots with a Dr Pepper. My friend ordered the gyro salad with sweet tea. I quickly asked if I could have a sweet tea instead of Dr Pepper. She said that it wasn’t a problem. She always had a beautiful smile when talking to her!
We got our order. My tots were not warm but they were very crunchy which I love crunchy tater tots! I forgave them for not having hot tots! I dipped them in bbq. DELICIOUS! The BBQ sandwich
with extra bbq sauce added was amazing, juicy, the right amount of smokey flavor and tender!

Wow. The service here is the highest top notch. From the outside I almost didn’t go in because it looks so run down but inside is clean and the entire staff is so friendly you’ll want to keep going back.
