My wife and I came here recently, and it’s decent. We ordered the Rokku shrimp and three different sushi rolls. The Rokku shrimp were really good, and 1 out of the 3 rolls were really good. The other two rolls were just alright. I think they could use more decor up stairs, maybe some Japanese artwork or lights that aren’t so strong and cool (tone). The service was good and I would come back to try it again. As someone who’s half Japanese I realize it’s Mexican style sushi but something was missing from the sushi rice, I believe the rice wine vinegar.

Definitely good sushi with great flavor and decent portion sizes. We usually grab two or three rolls and the teriyaki — always solid. This has become our go-to spot for Japanese food.
Only small downside is they’re a little light on the rice portions, but it’s tasty enough that we keep coming back anyway.
