I was welcomed with kindness and the workers here are excited to help you. They even gave me a couple pieces of moist brisket and it was tender and tasty. I don’t know why this place isn’t full on a Friday lunch, but I think y’all are missing out!! Come support this business!!

I regret not checking the reviews before ordering from this place, despite its 4-star rating. I got two brisket sandwiches, and the brisket was the driest I’ve ever had—no sauce, no pickles, just bland brisket on bread. The mac and cheese was a disappointment, just boiled noodles, no cheese and the beans were tasteless with a sour aftertaste. Everything lacked flavor. I wouldn’t recommend eating here and wouldn’t even give this food to my dog.

First and last time here. Brisket was bland. Mac n cheese, I’ve had better out of a box. Loaded baked potato tasted artificial. If you can’t make decent BBQ in Texas then something is very wrong. Plenty of other roadside BBQ place to go to. Doubt this place cares enough to put a little effort into the quality of their food.

My father uses a walker and he had easy access to get in and move around. We loved everything!

Smells great when you walk in. Brisket had so much fat. Mac and cheese was tasteless. Potatoe salad was mostly skin. First time to try it and last. Really wanted to like it.

Smells great walking in the door. This has to be some of the worst tasting bbq I have had (the other place is that guy with the trailer in the Super One Foods parking lot down the road). The ribs appeared and smelled to be boiled, the brisket (even w/the fat) was dry, the chicken was super dry and the links should just not be served. Not sure why they would sell mac-and-cheese that tastes like that. Nothing seemed to be smoked. When I first started learning to smoke meats years ago, my worst finished products tasted much better than this. They should be ashamed for charging premium prices for this garbage!

Thank you Brad for trying to make this right. That won’t be necessary. I have attached a photo of one (we bought 4) of the ribs that we purchased. With ribs, we normally like to see a smoke ring and a bit of charring on the edges, which tends to add to the flavor. Being from Texas, we are certain of what a good smoked rib should look and taste like. The second photo (for comparison) is of a roast that I smoked last year. Though the two meats are different, you can see that the roast has a distinctive smoke ring and some slight charring present (my ribs come out looking the same). This is what my family looks for in a good “smoked” rib.

It was my first time trying this place my jumbo Was so good to the tea but my pork sandwich in my banana pudding It wasn’t so rainbow the banana pudding was missing the cookies and my sandwich was dry also missing sauce.

Great place to stop for BBQ. My first visit to this location. I loved the smoker smell when entering. Chopped beef sandwich was delicious. Friendly customer service. Friday & Saturday Catfish is one I will return to try. I would recommend to others.
