The food is appetizing and the service is amazing! Everything is perfect. I ask Mr. Russel the owner of the restaurant if they can make Filipino style Pork Barbecue, Vegetable Pinakbet & Grilled Fish, without hesitation he agreed (but depends on the availability of ingredients in the Island). All the food I ordered was absolutely delicious and they pack it properly. Kudos to owner and staff!

Good burgers in this place that could quite easily be overlooked. The meals are quite reasonable and the burger I had was really nice with the added bonus that you can have a beer with your meal too.
I didn’t try one of their milk shakes but someone I was out with did and said it was very nice.
If you’re looking for some normal type food that doesn’t cost the Earth, give this place a try.

This is a camp diner that is a must visit for anyone going to the Faulklands. Depending on what you order the food is either really good or just okay. But the homey feel and the amount of locals at any given time is comforting and something not worth missing. Every time we are in Port Stanley we always have to take a trip to Shorty’s.

I recently had the opportunity to try the Chacarero sandwich at a local establishment, and while the overall taste was enjoyable, my experience was unfortunately inconsistent.
The Chacarero sandwich is known for its unique combination of ingredients, typically including tender slices of beef, sliced tomatoes, green beans, and a generous layer of creamy avocado spread, all served on a soft bread roll. When prepared with all the ingredients in place, it creates a truly satisfying and flavorsome meal.
On some occasions, however, the restaurant didn’t have all the necessary components available, which affected the overall quality of the sandwich. The absence of the flavorful green beans or the delightful avocado spread left me somewhat disappointed. While the sandwich was still decent without these key elements, it didn’t quite capture the authentic Chacarero experience that I was hoping for.
I understand that ingredient availability can sometimes be a challenge, but as a customer, consistency is an important aspect of any dining experience. It would be greatly appreciated if the restaurant could ensure that all the necessary ingredients are consistently stocked, so that every Chacarero sandwich can be enjoyed to its fullest potential.
