Visited three times last week great prices on breakfast. Breakfast meals with sausage,bacon, or ham was a perfect meal. Pancakes are huge just order one.
Toast is wheat or white. Coffee and water is always available. Be sure your not in a rush. The location seemed busy in the mornings.
I had one evening meal primarily salad. The orange mix with jello was perfect.

Understanding that they have limited staffing available I was disappointed to be met with a disgruntled employee when I called in to place my order to go. I was told it’d be ready in 20 minutes, and upon arriving I waited an additional 10 to pay for and receive my meal. It’s truly unfortunate to have such a poor experience in a small town; it was so bad the guys next to me stated “I see them looking at you but I don’t think they’re coming.” After finally getting my food it was not what I expected. I had ordered a steak sandwich and as you can see in the image attached I instead got a small well done steak, fries and a piece of toast.
To anyone looking for a great alternative option in the area for lunch, I highly recommend going to the sale barn. I know it sounds like a strange place for a meal but their staff and meal are exceptional every time.

Opening weekend for pheasant season, they will very under prepared. The place wasn’t even half full, waited well over an hour for food. When the food came out, the order was wrong, they just said “well here, eat this”. Literally, the worst experience I’ve had in SD over the past 15 years. It’s too bad.

A clean, updated local community restaurant that served a hot dish for a quick stop. A local favorite appeared to be the bacon cheeseburger. A healthy sized burger that was very affordable. Not your place if you are looking for a vegetarian bite. Give it a try if you are in the area, you shouldn’t be disappointed.

My husband & I ate here & we were VERY happy with the service and the food was excellent!!! The portions were way more than each of us could finish, & neither one of us is skinny or “medium-size”, Lol. Plus, the total amount for our meal surprised us. It was all under $20!!

Went in there tried to order a steak. Staff said they didn’t do steak until after 5. It was 4:20 Not even ten minutes later another party walked in and ordered a steak. Waitress did not say anything about no steak till 5:00.
