Shorty’s is a great place to go and grab a bite. I was working around the area for about 2 weeks, I found the place on google maps since i was looking for a place to get some wings. They didn’t disappoint. I had the “Blazing” wings and the Garlic Parmesan with some tots. Wings had great flavor and they were nice and crispy on the outside but meat was real juicy not dry. Tots were also nice and crispy just how i like em. Waitresses were welcoming and friendly. Overall great experience.

Food is always good… but why did I pay 11.50 for this size loaded tator tots… I am a server/bartender never give out bad portions like this. Got take out. Impressed with bartender but portions aren’t good.

An unassuming restaurant with high quality food and friendly staff. The wings especially were superb, and definitely recommend their special sauce that is a combo of Buffalo and Garlic Parm.

My husband and I spent the night in Amsterdam and decided to try Shorty’s and we loved it! The owners and bartender were very welcoming and chatted with us all evening. The bartender was personable and interested in our visit. We stayed and hung out with the locals. Wonderful people! We ordered chicken wings with the house special hot sauce. They were the bomb! Huge wings, huge portion & HOMEMADE blue cheese. We also ordered the Chili Fries. The portion was huge and they were delicious. I would recommend Shorty’s to anyone who lives in the area and to everyone who is visiting the area.

The wings and bleu cheese were really good! Some of the best I’ve ever had. The Italian Grinder was to die for! Very delicious! Also got the Billy Burger which first came out raw which was disappointing because we were on a time crunch and it already took a while to get our food but to have to send the burger back to get a new one that was cooked right made it disappointing to have to wait longer. Wish they had done it right the first time. But once we could start eating, the food was absolutely amazing! Servers were nice but they were running all over the place and didn’t really focus on their customers even when there weren’t a lot of customers there which was confusing as to why they hardly checked on us.

The wings for amazing. The service at the front bar was okay. People coming and going were very nice and greeting everyone they came across and made me feel welcomed. But the best part was the cook. The way he prepared his food with such finesse and expertise showed that he was one chef that was not to be played with. The taste of the food and the tenderness of the chicken made my palate go crazy. The way he played it the food on a plate showed his expertise. He aimed to please the customer and he made his point on the way he prepared the food and when it was brought out the first reaction that I saw from other people were wow this looks good and amazing. Well plated and placed in a way that showed that he was a good cook with an awesome conscience just to please his customers. He was not only a chef Oracle but he was also a person that came out to say hello to everyone at the bar and the restaurant and make them feel welcomed. I really admired the way he carried himself with all the customers with such a professional demeanor and always cared to socialize with the customers. every time he left the room he left everyone with a smile and you can see in their eyes that they were going to come back and pass the word on. He puts tender Loving Care on every dish that he sends out to his customers and never that I see once any customer complaint about the taste and quality of the food. I highly recommend this chef and cook and I give him kudos because the chef and a cook are the front of the restaurant. When you give out good quality food with an amazing taste customers will always overflow your restaurant and pass the word on to friends and families. Which is what I am doing. The chef and cook I would like to highly recommend for his quality of food is. Mr Brian Rivas. Who is not only an outstanding cook but an amazing human being and shows care and respect for all the customers who enter Shorty’s. Please if you have not done yet this man deserves a raise and more. He is the forefront of your restaurant and he always makes your restaurant look good in the eyes of all no matter what color creed Grace religion or sexual gender people always look forward to coming back to Shorty’s. My respects to Mr Brian. thank you for your wonderful tasting and quality of food that you have served me at Shorty’s and I look forward to more days of coming back and eating your food Mr Brian. Literally the perfect experience at a small dining restaurant. Their food is exquisite and consistent. Their staff is welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is calm and enjoyable with a mix of bar seating and tables also featuring a drive-through. It’s one of the easiest locations to grab a bite to eat while next to the river.

This place has great potential to be great. If your a first time visit. There is no clear signage as to how to proceed. Just grab a table and hope someone realizes you have been seated, which someone will. Its a small place but great for get together and meals. Service is pretty good but sometimes keeps you wondering. Atmosphere is good but needs more to feel like you are a valued customer

Great burgers! We stopped at this little tavernon a road trip to Acadia. Burgers were so good!!! We got three different kinds and they were all wonderful and full of flavor. Fries were crispy and yummy as well. Had a sweet taste to them. Wife got a grinder and she loved it. Tater salad was good. Also got side salads. Everything was great!
