Great food and great service. Whether it’s to go or dine in for lunch or dinner, we always get good service and great food. The atmosphere feels like someone in the 50s era. Only place in town here in Coldwater that has a drive-in restaurant of this type.

Honestly great place. I love their root beer floats. It’s super fun driving up and being served in your car. They attach the tray to your car door. The food is good. I’ve been there at different times and had burgers, fries, fried chicken, chicken tenders and more. It’s definitely fast food type of food. Greasy, and not good for you, but delicious. Great summer spot. You can grab food at Short’s and then head to Capri drive in to watch a movie. Tons of fun!

Broasted chicken is ! Hands down.
Breading is slightly peppered and not over seasoned . Not a fan of the coleslaw but it’s a vinegar type and I like creamy and sweet so can’t be a good judge of the slaw.
Foot long hot dog bun was hard so it kinda ruined it
Fries were good and the Lime dole whip is very light flavorful and very interesting.

This place is absolutely incredible. The food is best around. I had the triple cheese burger. My wife had the BLT and my son had a hot dog. This was pure nostalgia only thing missing is waiters on skates. The food was amazing the burger was very fresh and done to perfection medium rare (my preference) the onion rigs where the best i have ever had. My wife said her BLT was the best she had ever had and that’s all she ever gets at places like this. My son demolished his hot dog and for him being a picky eater that was very good. The hot fudge peanut butter malt was the perfect ending to the meal. A great place to go. Thank you Shorts.

Nice drive in experience. Good root beer. Family had fried mushrooms, potato logs+++. No complaints everyone was happy. They have tables outside if you don’t want to eat in your car. Bathrooms are on west outside of building.

We came in with the hotrod power tour and it was packed to the point people were parking outside of designated spots but the servers accommodated for us and were very nice, the food was amazing and everyone was there for a good time.

This place is absolutely adorable. It is very much like taking a step back in time. It wasn’t busy so we got quick service. This is the best peanut butter chocolate milkshake I’ve ever had!!! I was jealous of the cars around me that were getting banana splits and other kinds of sundaes. Those also looked delicious!! The bacon cheeseburger was amazing and juicy! The fries and onion rings were a little cold but still tasty! If I ever come up this way again I will definitely be stopping at Shorts!!

The food is so delicious. The vibe and music is like the 60’s-70’s. Server is honest and super helpful. Love this better than sonic! You pull up, look at the menu above and then put your blinker on and they come right out to take your order. Waited probably couple minutes for few hot dogs drinks and a fry. We are from out of town so we will definitely stop back before we go! Sorry, food’s already gone before we took photos!

My whole family loves the classic drive in. Reminiscent of the old A&Ws of yesteryear, the homemade root beer in a frosted mug will bring you right back there.
Their menu goes beyond hot dogs and hamburgers and the offer slushes and shakes as well. But my wife’s favorite drink here is the root beer float.

Fried chicken was great. Fried clams. Onion rings and pickles were good but a little on the cold side. If they were hit i would imagine they would of been great too. It was extremely hot And busy the servers were doing a good job trying to keep up. I will definitely give it another shot.
