We’ve been going to Short Stop since before we left the Springs, and rarely do we come back and not hit them up again. The food is freshly made when you order and their fries are the absolute bomb. The Short Stop food truck was at the El Paso county fair and sponsored the food eating contest! I got a nice meal of a double cheeseburger, fries and a drink.
Their hamburgers are so fresh and tasty and the fries are perfectly done! I got a chance to meet owner, Ted, who was so friendly and made sure I got exactly what I ordered.
Their convenient location near Powers and Palmer Park is worth the drive for the excellent food you can get.

Not good quality. Not worth the money. For $5-6 I could go to In-N-Out for a MUCH better burger. Thought I’d give these guys a try but won’t come again. The patty was thin and pathetic. The other ingredients were just okay. I was expecting so much more from them.

Trying to avoid another “grey” burger, this time I went to the walk-up window and ordered a #3 fresh grilled well done. I got my food in about 2 minutes and suspected it was not well done but I had to get back to work so I didn’t check while I was there. Definitely not fresh grilled and definitely not well done! This place is getting more and more disappointing!

I have never been to a short stop before and I’m not sure I’ll ever go again we got 2 number 3 double cheeseburger and I have to say I’ve had better burgers in a school cafeteria the meat is just terrible it’s like they used the cheapest frozen patties you can order on the market the burger was greasy and for a double burger it was tiny like a junior whataburger but worse. If the two meals were less than 30 dollars then I wouldn’t be disappointed but the fact that I paid 30 dollars for gas station quality burgers is beyond depressing. Maybe their hot dogs or their brauts are better but if you want a decent burger I’d suggest you steer clear away from short stop.

Well very disappointed ordered a number 1 large fries were the best part but the hamburger for the price was horrible. I think this place needs to call it a day I will definitely put this on all social medias.
