⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shore Fresh Seafood Market & Restaurant, located on Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant, provides a relaxed, casual atmosphere perfect for seafood lovers. When we stopped by for a meal, the fresh market vibe was inviting, and I was eager to try a few of their popular offerings.
I ordered the Broiled Seafood Combo, which came with a choice of broiled or fried seafood. The platter featured shrimp, scallops, flounder, a mini crab cake, and whole clams, providing a nice mix of options. While the seafood was fresh, the overall flavors didn’t quite live up to the hype. The shrimp and scallops were cooked well, but the mini crab cake was a bit lackluster. The flounder, however, was prepared nicely and definitely a highlight of the dish.
On the side, I opted for French fries, but this was where things fell short. Even though I asked for them to be cooked a bit longer, they came out undercooked and lacked the crisp texture I was expecting. The crab cake sandwich we tried was average as well—decent, but nothing that stood out.
On a more positive note, the Lobster Bisque was a pleasant surprise. It had a nice, rich flavor with a good amount of lobster in it, making it one of the more enjoyable parts of the meal. I’d definitely recommend giving that a try if you visit.
The real star of our experience, though, was the service. Our server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and great with the kids. They checked in on us often and made sure we had everything we needed, which made the meal more enjoyable despite the inconsistencies with the food.
Overall, while the food had its ups and downs, the excellent service and fresh seafood make Shore Fresh worth a visit. The Lobster Bisque was a highlight, and with a bit of improvement on some dishes (especially those fries), it has the potential to be a standout seafood spot in Point Pleasant. I would consider coming back again for another visit.

Awesome fishery/restaurant in point easy to find with a large parking lot. BYOB! My go-to spot when I want a delicious and fresh seafood dinner. Prices are reasonable for the quality and the food is unbelievably fresh. Fisherman’s stew Is to die for and the seafood combo is amazing. I recently tried the shrimp and scallops over linguini and it might just be my new favorite. You can’t go wrong here

Shore Fresh is a local favorite. They offer fresh and delicious seafood at reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Sit out side and BYOB. Good for family dining or a dinner date.

Shore Fresh Seafood Market & Restaurant on Bridge Street has an excellent fresh fish market as well as prepared takeout. We like the broiled scallop plate with rice and vegetables and the crab cake dinner with fries. They will also cook your lobsters for you so you can pick them up warm and ready for the family. We love the convenience of this option. Highly recommened!

Not worth the premium price. We ordered takeout and calamari was obviously frozen, the coleslaw was dry with no mayo and the fries were burnt. Fried cod batter had no flavor. Overall could’ve been better. And the sauce for the calamari was oily. Yuck! $60 bucks down the drain! Oh and they charge you a 3% fee if you use a credit card, lol Unbelievable!

Two words: lobster salad. Expensive at $38.99 a pound, but you’re worth it. It’s such a great treat!! 1/2 pound pictured, and yes it was just for me. LOL. Plus, there’s Loads of fresh seafood selections. I did get some of the tuna one night to throw on the grill and it was fantastic. As you enter the building, the shop is on the right and there’s a restaurant on the left.
