Every neighborhood should have a Shooter McGee’s. Super friendly staff, affordable good tasting food, great bar and a welcoming vibe. Don’t see that too much, especially where I live where there are only chain restaurants. Our food and drinks were solid. There were the standard menus and entertainment for the kids. No issues with parking. I recommend going to Shooter McGee’s. If I lived closer, I would be a regular.

You know that feeling when you discover something amazing right next to home and wonder how did I not know this before? That was me today! First time at Shooter McGee’s, and honestly, it felt like finding a little hidden gem in the neighborhood.
The place had such a lively yet cozy vibe ,friendly faces, warm lighting, and that classic pub charm that instantly makes you feel comfortable. I went with my husband and best friend, and it turned into one of those easy, laughter-filled afternoons that you never plan but end up cherishing.
We ordered the Blackened Bistro Steak Medallion Risotto one with beef, one with chicken and the Grilled Pork Chops. Everything came out perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully plated. The risotto was creamy, the seasoning just right comfort food with a little kick.
Sometimes the best moments really are this simple good food, good company, and a new favorite spot found by accident. ❤️

We will be back! Amazing service and delicious food. We sat at a high top in the bar section. Patrick served us and he was so nice and attentive. We order the fried provolone with tomato basil sauce, blackened chicken pasta, and shooter smash burger. Everything came out hot and tasty. For drinks we had angry orchard and strongbow but they had a wide selection of other drinks. We are new to the area and think we found our new spot! If you’re considering trying this place I would 100% recommend!

My waiter was so nice. He was so cheery and attentive. I only came here because of Denise’s review and had to see for myself. First off, I didn’t visit during Valentine’s Day so maybe I should try next Valentine’s Day. Next, I didn’t ask for a specific table because I don’t care. All of the tables seemed delightful and I had a great view of my husband who sat across from me. Couldn’t have asked for a better view. We ordered chili nachos to split and we both got the smash burgers. The smash burgers had two big patties! I would say that they were full burger patties, not the tiny thinly smashed burgers that some other places have. I usually don’t take leftovers but had some burger left to take home. I had tater tots with mine and they gave a big portion. He had fries and had a good portion as well. I would come back here again and recommend this place to my friends and family.

I came here for dinner around 7:00p with my girlfriend. We had a really nice experience. The restaurant was well-staffed with friendly, helpful waitstaff.
Hot & Spicy Wings: 7/10 — nice flavor, average texture, little light on the sauce
French Onion Soup: 8.5/10 — very enjoyable flavor,
Fries: 8/10 — just look at them
Reuben: 6/10 — over-indexed on the corned beef (some of which was tough), lot of nice flavor in parts of the sandwich
Sliders: 5/10 — plain, similar to sliders made at a home cookout

The food was good, the service was great. I had the chicken ciabta sandwich. It was delicious and perfectly proportioned. My onion rings though were burnt and few of the were stuck together and mushy on the sides stuck together. The Cheesteak rolls were decent, but they could actually use more melted cheese mixed in with the steak. The firecracker shrimp tasty and eaten very quickly. The salad was fresh and plentiful with perfectly cooked salmon. My son compared his fries to Five Guys (that’s a huge compliment because he loves Five Guys)
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pricing is fair and the gratuity was added already to our party of 5. I didn’t mind because the staff was really great.
There is outdoor seating that looks comfortable.
Parking is part of a small shopping center.

Taylor was amazing. She is a rockstar. From the beginning she introduced herself politely, shook my hand and everything. Kept a good positive attitude the whole time. Super friendly and hardworking bartender/server. The burger never disappoints in this place. I’ve been going here for longer than 8 years and every time I always enjoy it a lot. Too bad they got rid of the sweet potato fries…bring them back please. Thank you shooter mcgees, and thank you for having great bartenders like Taylor.

My kiddos and I ventured over to Shooter McGees today for the first time. Katie was our server and she was very nice and attentive. She gave the kids things to color as we waited. We enjoyed her energy throughout our meal experience. Food came out very quickly! Kids enjoyed the fish and chips as well as fried shrimp . Fries were just ok. I had the crab/lobster cake and it tasted pretty good. The side salad was ok and spinach was fantastic. Spinach had great great flavor. Katie brought my son a number of hot sauces for his shrimp and he loved the variety! They also loved the icecream at the end – very good.
For the areas of improvement:
The restaurant could use some extra cleaning. There was food on the floor and seats.
The ambience in the place itself was interesting. Outside of Katie (who was amazing), folks who worked there were not very friendly to us. It was hard not to notice. Even from the moment we walked in – the only person who greeted us, was Katie – she even went as far as learning our names so that she’d remember us…
We observed that was not the case for others who entered the restaurant. My 8 year old even noticed. That says a lot.
The ambience and making customers feel welcome and their business is appreciated – is what keeps folks coming back.
