Went here because of Rick and Morty. Never been in a Shoneys. It was good and we were not disappointed. The gentleman working the whole place (seating, serving and cleaning) absolutely killed it. The food was actually extremely good. There was a combo of breakfast and lunch and we didn’t have a single bad thing. The pricing was very reasonable. Wish we had these back home.

I would have loved it if me and husband weren’t rushed to pay, and the waiter came to our table 9times in 15min now he was sweet and very hospitable but we just wanted to enjoy our breakfast.

Shoney’s delivered a solid, satisfying experience. The food came out hot, the portions were generous, and the classic comfort‑style flavors hit the spot. The staff was friendly and checked in just enough without hovering, which made the meal feel relaxed. The restaurant was clean and the buffet area stayed well‑stocked during my visit.
Overall, it’s a dependable place for a hearty meal at a good value. I’d definitely come back

Overall, it was a good experience! I’m from Atlanta, and since we no longer have Shoney’s, we were excited to visit. We arrived in the afternoon. They offered a lunch/dinner buffet which was decent. My meal included the silver plate buffet with salad, fruit, bread, and dessert. The salad was excellent, with a great selection of toppings. The fried chicken and fish looked appealing. For my entrée, I had a beef patty with mushrooms and onions. It looked good but lacked seasoning. It would have been better with gravy or something similar. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak, but it seemed more like a burger than steak. He wouldn’t order it again. The fries weren’t hot, suggesting they had been sitting out. There were six of us in total. While we might try another location, we wouldn’t rush back to this one.

The best I can say was the eggs and bacon were good and the rest was not so much. The Hash-browns were rubbery, the chicken, sausage and biscuits were overcooked. While the server checked on us and was nice enough her manners and appearance weren’t great. I understand it’s off season but if you can’t offer the same service all year just close down in the off season.

We dine here for breakfast and it was good. We haven’t been to a Shoney’s before, but seen it in different cities. We tried the buffet, which is $15 for adults and $8 for children. They have the usual breakfast items as well as a salad bar and a fruit section. We thought the price was good taking into account the amount of items and that the price of a breakfast entree is about the same as the buffet. There was lots of seating and lots of parking while we were there. Friendly and attentive staff filling up drinks as well as getting tables ready for new customers. They have different specials throughout the week, like steak nights, burgers, and more. So check out their website before you head down to a shoney’s.

Service: 10/10 waitress was excellent and very kind. Attentive and cleared out dishes quickly
Food: 0/10 I ordered off the menu and got the Pancakes breakfast. The pancakes were undercooked. The maple syrup ruined the dish. It tasted watered down and not sweet like maple syrup should be. Couldn’t finish pancakes without the iconic maple syrup. The hash-browns were severely undercooked. Little to no brown to them. Needed to be much crunchier became they were extremely soggy and mushy. I ordered over easy eggs and one was perfect, the other was watery. Sourdough toast was perfect. Bacon was delicious. The water disgusted me. It was tap water and I could see particles moving around in it. Never coming here again.
Price: 5/10 I wouldn’t have complained if the food was good enough for the price. It was around $12 for the meals but the quality of the food was not worth it. Felt like I was eating microwaved food. Paid $100 for 5 people.
Atmosphere: 8/10 it was incredibly crowded and kept running into people in line for the buffet. The decorations were cute and they had lights for Christmas. Very cozy.

All of the sheets by my house closed so while in pigeon forge we came here. It was an off time ( 2 pm) and I didn’t know if everything off the all you can eat bar would be gone but I looked and everything was full so we ate. I couldn’t believe it. They had steak on there and it was better than the one I got last night at Alamo steak house. I got fried shrimp baked and fried fish. Sausage. Fried chicken cream corn mashed potatoes and gravy. Cabbage , green beans salad bar that has eggs. Real bacon bits. I had to get the pink stuff , banana pudding chocolate pudding. Cherry jello. Cottage cheese pine apple. Peaches. Everything was good. Just like the old days. Ashley our waitress was great.
