I recently visited Shoney’s Restaurant on Hwy 321 in Maryville TN and it was a very good experience.
Eliana greeted me at the door, welcomed me and quickly took me to her section.
I told her I would be having the full food bar and coffee ☕ as my drink.
I soon brought my awesome salad and a bowl of hot ‘cabbage soup’ to my table and my pot of hot coffee was already waiting for me. Eliana is a very quick server for sure.
I then went to the hot food section and returned with 3 meat choices and several hot vegetables. All were delicious and the entire bar area was clean and well maintained.
Eliana had already brought fresh coffee to my table.
During my meal a manager (Cameron) asked me if I needed anything else.
I told him everything was great and I assured him my server, Eliana, was . The food and restaurant were and my visit has been very positive.
I assured him I would return soon.
This restaurant also offers a discount for Military Veterans and the cashier thanked me for my service.
A very good experience.
I recommend this restaurant to everyone. ✅

We had dinner here on a Friday night and was happy to discover that Shoney’s still has their all you can eat hot bar, and since it was Friday it was “Steaks n Stuff” night.
This location was convenient, decently clean, and the food was decent.
The prices are a little high for the quality of food served and lackluster service from the staff.
I would dine here again simply for the nostalgia of Shoney’s – many restaurants have markedly better food quality and preparation along with a modern atmosphere for the same money or even less.

Restaurant was fantastic! Emily and entire staff were friendly and attentive . Very clean. Best catfish ever. Food bar was well stocked and fresh , big variety. Husband’s chicken sandwich was excellent! We will definitely go back!

One night after work Me and wife came to eat here food was okay service great job service our table. After eating my wife got dessert chocolate pudding and was something in it chocolate pudding like someone something in between someone teeth spit out in chocolate pudding my wife got very sick . She had called for work next day . So won’t be back that killed it for us .

We had a delicious meal tonight. The store was very festive with a beautiful woodland Christmas tree up front. My husband had the buffet. I ordered a hamburger steak with grilled onions and mushrooms. While waiting for my food I ate some hot vegetables and beef cabbage soup which was included with my meal. Our server was very attentive. She wore a Christmas Shoney’s shirt which I thought was neat. The bar was beautifully maintained. I would highly recommend this location.

We hadn’t planned on going to Shoney’s. In fact, the place we wanted was packed so this was our backup. It’s been years since we ate at one. The restaurant was clean and the server was attentive and kind. At 12.99 for the buffet plus 2.99 for soda or coffee, it’s a $16 breakfast. There’s no way we ate that much. The eggs were super soft, the bacon burned to a crisp and thrown into a pan so they remained soaked in grease. The sausage fell apart and there was no jelly that I saw for my biscuit. I guess I was only supposed to put gravy on it. My wife and I both got a sour stomach afterwards. And I’m on meds that keep that from happening. Hope you like ’50s music because that’s all they play. I should have gone with the local restaurant but I was hungry and they had a 30 minute wait. I should have waited.

We have not eaten at a Shoneys in many years. They all went bust in our area. We always liked their brunch bar as you can get fresh salads, breakfast or lunch food at the same time. It fits all the requirements. This location was very nice and our waitress, I think her name was Jane, was exceptional. She was very attentive and answered several questions about the Maryville area.

Food was absolutely atrocious. Chicken sandwiches had been there so long that the buns were crunchier than toast. Lukewarm fried fish made me sick to my stomach. There was a chicken foot in the wing bin and all of the wings were shriveled and unappetizing. Genuine biohazard
