I’m not sure why I love to visit these places that seem dated or past their prime, but I always seek them out. Shoney’s is another one of those places that seems to be clinging to a past generation of buffet loving, all-for-one low price customer. From its unmistakable red and white banner logo to the iconic Shoney’s bear it has carved its place in American dining history. Although it split from Big Boy years ago, you can still see the resemblance. With headquarters being located in Nashville, you would expect all Tennessee locations to be above average. And this location proves that point. Decent food with friendly service.

Wanted a salad figured it wouldn’t be bad so we went to shoney’s. But like every time just another disappointment 14.99 ×2 3.89 ×2 thats the most expensive salad ive ever eat including a senior discount. To go sweat tea $1 no wonder thos place is never busy. I expect to get ignored but before you do im in the top 10% of Google reviewers for restaurant mine will come up before anyone’s.

Lunch was great! We arrived 3:05 or so. We did order 2 BP and a order of ff. But that’s always been part of the bar. We didn’t over work the waitress. I believe only 2 drinks were refilled.

We enjoyed the all day breakfast buffet. Everything was fresh and hot. Server was nice and attentive. My dad loved the biscuits and gravy where me and my sister enjoyed the French toast sticks. The syrup was hot and tasty.

Service & atmosphere very friendly and welcoming … But breakfast bar foods were cold and not checked or replenished in the hour we waited for some late guests. I got food poisoning later that night. Prices were high, nothing on the menu or buffet (that we got) was below $14 each ….

Delicious entree which included side and salad/soup and dessert bar for $15….amazing. Albert fixed the best chicken fried steak, and awesome mashed and gravy. Truly yummy. Great service and food. Highly recommend. Also, noticed they are open Thanksgiving with a bar with all the fixins

Food was cooked perfect mine my mothers and fathers hamburgers were amazing tasted perfect and the server is so sweet and great at her job. If you stop in ask for Lucretia for great service and make sure Albert is cooking and you won’t be disappointed. Review comes from travelers from Georgia!

Super, super friendly staff that were very on top of drinks and always maintaining fresh food at the food buffet. We were there just in time for lunch to be put out and the breakfast and lunch options were all delicious. It’s also across from a playground if you’re on a road trip with little ones like we were. Highly recommended for groups of any size and age, something for everyone.
