I had the buffet on a Sunday before the rush crowd and it was pretty mediocre. I was noticing a lot of Sweetness in uncommon dishes like green beans. They were friendly and Drew a pretty good size crowd. I could tell they were regulars and they enjoyed Shoney’s.

Service was pretty good and recommend at least a try once, had baked spaghetti which was delicious. Buffet looked like it was kept well supplied, they had decent selection. Only disappointed that the milkshakes weren’t as thick as I like but overall a good place to eat.

It has been a long time since I have seen a Shoney’s. I’ve long admired their breakfast buffet. We had lunch and the salmon was very good. The bathrooms could use some attention. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. Lunch buffet was as expected. Salad was pretty good. All in all a satisfactory meal.

Way too expensive for warm food. 🙁 We all were convinced that food poisoning could be a good possibility. But thankfully we were fine. The food was good. But it was definitely not hot. And I had no idea how much the buffet cost until after we got the bill.

The food was good. But the waitress was very cold and distant. I was tempted not to leave a tip! She never refilled our water! We only saw her 3 times. To ask our drink orders, to bring us our drinks, and then to bring us the bill. Which she brought before we were even halfway done with our meal, making us feel rushed and then she never came back. I left a tiny tiny tip. And they charged my 2 year old for just picking food off my plate!! And they charged a different price than what was labeled on the menu! I will absolutely never go back to this shoney’s ever again. And I recommend everyone steer clear of that one.

Great food bar. Actually reminded me of my Mother’s cooking while I was growing up. We were there right after the lunch rush and apparently the corn on the cob didn’t go over as well as planned. That left an abundance on the bar and it started looking a little worse for the wear. Other than that, everything I tasted was great. Service was professional as well.
