Bacon was delicious. Biscuits were good but gravy was a bit cold and lacked flavor. Eggs were super wet which i understand is somewhat normal in buffets but definitely could’ve been cooked a little bit more. Everything else was fine though and our server (who I believe was actually the manager because someone had called out) was amazing and super friendly! A little pricey at $20 per person but with the cost of food nowadays you get your money’s worth easily if you do it right 😉

This was my family and I first time visiting this location. The price was decent and the food was great. They never let anything sit for long and constantly brought hot food out. However, there were flies swarming over the fruits and other cold foods, so we didn’t eat any of that. The atmosphere is not so great. It was very hot to the point we couldn’t enjoy our food and they only had ceiling fans and a stand-up fan that was blowing. My family and I weren’t the only ones aggravated at the fact that there wasn’t any air. Our waitresses wasnt as attentive as she could have been seeing as though we had to ask for refills. Aside from that it was a decent place, but there is definitely room for improvement.

It was so nice to see a Shoney’s being that we don’t have them where I live. It’s $20 per person for the buffet which to me is a little pricey. The customer service could have been better also. Very tight parking lot.

The breakfast bar was not very well stock and what was there was not good. They did cook the pancakes to order and they were real good. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was great. The store was very clean and very easy to access.

We no longer have any Shoney’s restaurants where I am from, so I was delighted to eat at the one in Myrtle Beach. We had the breakfast bar, and it was phenomenal. The service was great, the cleanliness of the restaurant was outstanding and the food was spectacular!!! Definitely will be going back when I visit Myrtle Beach again.

This was my 2nd time going to this Shoney’s for breakfast and it was FREEZING inside the restaurant BOTH times. I went around 7:30 and it was so cold I needed gloves and a hoodie. I’m had the 3 egg omelet which was excellent but it was so cold in there that I couldn’t enjoy my food. Both times the servers were great too. I was surprised that the staff tolerated those conditions. I wish the experience would have been better because I really enjoyed the Shoney’s experience in Darlington and really hoped Myrtle Beach was comparable. I won’t be back to the one in Myrtle Beach unless changes are made regarding the temperature of the restaurant.

It’s a place to take the family if your on a budget and not too picky. . Buffet is good if you get it fresh an no unattended kids have stuck there entire hand in the food. Just watch the buffet activity before fixing your plate..

I only like to do positive reviews and as much as I come to the beach I will not be eating here anymore. The food was luke warm, we cleaned off our own table and the worse part was I walked to the waitress station to ask for lemons, the waitress grabbed lemons with her bare hands and put them in a bowl. The part that was so bad was tue fact that she had a rag that she had just used to clean off a table right before. I know that staffing is an issue at so many places but that right there made me not ask another restaurant for lemons.

Visited at 7:30am on a Wednesday; I wasn’t sure the cost of the breakfast buffet but was surprised to hear that it’s $20.. even at 7:30 and having been open since 7, the buffet wasn’t fully open. And then seeing what is on the buffet I was disappointed in the price. The food was mediocre, certainly not worth the $20.. my waitress was very friendly and attentive. My table was clean but very sticky
