Sunday 11/21 around 2pm…I will never give my business here again. There is a chubby white male who says he’s the manager there who is racist and very rude. He became upset with me when I ask why do I have to reach over other food to get the food item in the back. He stated that was his restaurant, and he do things how he likes. I said why are you becoming so angry he stated you and your family will never be served here and you can get out my restaurant. He kept bothering me and told me I need to be quiet. I stated to him he was rude and to not talk disrespectful to me when I’m not doing that towards him. He was very rude and I know from years of management experience a manager is supposed to be professional. They need to pull the camera and they will see how he continuously bothered me and talked to me as if I was his slave. He does not need to be a manager because he is very unpleasant, unprofessional , disrespectful and telling people that’s his restaurant and he makes the rules..my family and friends have supported this restaurant for a long time and something needs to be done with his rude behavior by corporate asap..but God go him ….

I haven’t ate at shoneys in about 10years but I tell ya I’ve had better tasting grits in middle school cafeteria. No fall or what so ever. And I’m trying to check out but my waitress hasn’t been back to my table. Eggs weren’t cooked all the way thru . Bacon was best part of meal.

Every time I’m in town, which is 3-4 times a month. I always eat at this Shoney’s. I have always had great food and service. It’s one of the better Shoney’s that I have eaten at. The waitresses are all friendly. The General Manager and The Owner are very nice people. I will continue to be a forever patron of this restaurant. BTW the fish and onion rings are awesome. The you Shoney’s.

The buffet is really the only reason people go here. Most of the cooked vegetables have pork fat or bacon in them. The salad bar was fresh and had lots of toppings. The butterscotch cookies were good. But the food is all made in big batches which cuts down on the taste and quality. The bathroom was soaking wet and the stall didnt lock. Pur server was really nice though and answered all our questions about the menu. 🙂

They are subpar food. Sunday is chicken nuggets on the bar. Its not as good as florence. Not much variety here. The food is basic nothing that keeps on bringing you back. Especially for the price.
