Lunch for two people was $28+ dollars. The portions were small, the food was ok at best, and there was no AC inside the restaurant.

Was passing thru Mountain City and had my dinner delivered to the Americourt hotel. I had a scallop dinner. It was very good and wasn’t fishy at all which can happen since we’re a distance from the ocean. They were cooked perfect as well as the rest of the meal.

I am glad that’s we got shokudo japanese express in mountain City TN because I love that’s place the food is wonderful and they are so nice people I hope they stay there for ever a big shout out for shokudo japanese express keep being the amazing and wonderful people and food keep up the wonderful work and God bless love Ashley

The one staff was very friendly however when I asked him for a receipt he didn’t seem to understand or didn’t do receipts I’m not sure. The food was good nonetheless the shrimp sauce was yellow I’m not sure if it was homemade but it tasted like shrimp sauce in normal Chinese and Japanese restaurants I do however wish they was egg rolls and wong tongs. I left him a $5 tip because he was the only one there and I came at 11 Monday.

How is this place staying in business?
I picked a meal that didn’t include mushrooms! When it was delivered WITH mushrooms and I questioned the clerk he said “just because it doesn’t say mushrooms doesn’t mean they’re not in there, you should ask”. Then he offered to pick them out for me….with attitude!
In any case……the two of us (without drinks) was over $30! Small portions and very poor quality! One & Done!!
“So done with people” you chose a customer service industry…..maybe it’s not too late for Veterinary Medicine.
At least I was calm and courteous…..which is what you were supposed to be (customer service).
The bottom line is, mushrooms or not, the food wasn’t good and the service was terrible! One Star!!

WOW! What a disappointment! Fortune cookies stale as well as taste of overcooked carrots ( May gave been canned.) Chicken and steak dish bland and although stated “filet mignon”, did not taste like it. Little meat for the price.
Our take out was at 730pm- maybe that’s why even rice overcooked and bland.
Sad. Staff friendly. But we definitely won’t be going back. dtb
