Seriously the best sushi ever. I’ve had sushi all over the US and this is so good. Also my husband love the drunken noodles with beef! Deep fried cheesecake and the milk teas are super good! Try the Purple Rain roll, Katana roll and Panther roll! You won’t be disappointed. Went two days in a row, can’t wait to go again. Affordable prices too and great service.

I went with my family yesterday to check out Shogun Beckley. I was so impressed! Great food! The sushi was amazing and SO AFFORDABLE. The service was amazing fast and friendly and we got boba tea that finished off our meals perfectly. This is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant in Beckley. We had Thai and the kids tried the Hibachi. I can’t believe how affordable it was our meal was so cheap and the best quality by far that I’ve had in the area ♡♡♡♡

And the service—impeccable.
I’m gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and sugar-free. And the server brought out a free gluten-free soup.

First time at this establishment. My wife had the drunken noodles with tofu. She found the dish to be deliciously seasoned with a reasonable amount of heat and not too sweet. I had the sushi delux and pink lady roll. The presentation was elegant and the sushi fresh and generously portioned. I believe it to be the best sushi one can find in Beckley. (Trust me I have tried them all) Finally at check time, I was surprised by the value for the dinners we both enjoyed. With Beckley’s limited restaurant variety, Shogun is a nice change of pace for this patron.

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant, and we’ve only been twice. We can’t wait to go back! The food is outstanding, looks too beautiful to eat, and the portions are huge! Not to mention, their prices are hard to beat. The service was good, quiet environment, and everything was clean! We can’t say enough good things about this restaurant!

Went in strictly for sushi. I loved most of the sushi. The white tuna, salmon, and tuna tuna are awesome. They had some kind of sushi that was tough and my wife actually found a bone in a piece of hers. She didn’t like it at all. The sashimi was less than perfect. The rice was hard and dry. Couldn’t pick it up with chopsticks and at 25 bucks for 10 or 12 pieces, I feel the shrimp sashimi shouldn’t be a thing. If I want shrimp “sushi” or sashimi I can go to kroger.

This gem of a restaurant boasts a varied menu, attentive and friendly service, and a laid-back vibe. Beckley’s Shogun offers an excellent sushi selection, hibachi meals, boba, and Thai options. My dining partner and I both had hibachi steak and shrimp. The steak especially was melt-in-your mouth and seasoned beautifully. Portions are generous, but we had to finish everything!
