I love this place, but the last 5 times I’ve had to find sauce to put with my food because there is none in the box when I get home. All in the bottom of the bag. Please pack better for takeout im not happy at all.

My nieces and I had a great time at the hibachi this afternoon. Our chef was named Andy and he was very funny and put on a great show. The food was wonderful. Between the 3 of us we had the chicken, steak, lobster and shrimp. They seasoned the meat well and it was all perfectly cooked. We loved the salad dressing. Our server, Yuri?,was also very pleasant and helpful. It was a fun experience.

I’ve been here twice and I love this place, the service I gave two stars because it’s been kinda bad with the waitresses or waiters.
The 2nd time I was there I was ordering and she just cut me and moved on to the next person, so cut her back off and said, I’m not done ordering yet, then with an attitude she said, well, what else do you want. The service for bring drinks is bad too.
All the hibachi chefs have been awesome and the food has tasted great as well.
We like going right when they open because we often get a hibachi chef and grill to ourselves, which is fun.
There sushi is great as well as the steak, shrimp, chicken, and scallops… Especially when you dip your filet mignon in the yum yum sauce with fried rice, it’s super delicious.
I will definitely go back, but it’s the waitresses and waiters we’ve had that kinda dull the overall experience.

Very dissatisfied and disappointed in this shogun location. We had a reservation for 8pm originally for hibachi. We get there and upon telling them we had a reservation they say okay and I think they misunderstand. 8:30 rolls around and all the people waiting get seated except us. The employee asks us again and we tell her we had a reservation (called days in advance mind you) at 8 for hibachi. She tells us we can either wait even longer or just sit for dining. It seems from the interaction our reservation was discarded or ignored. I get it’s busy- but how are you going to operate a successful business when you disregard reservations and don’t take into account your capacity? If you’re going to ignore the reservations on the first place- don’t even do them. I’ve been to the other shogun in Burnsville many times and it looks like I’ll have to keep going there instead of here from now on. Very sad.

I love coming here because the food is good and a fair price. I never have to worry about cross contamination from a food allergy. The waiting staff is super nice. Jaka (sorry if I misspelled it) is the best waiter I have ever had!!

Food was wonderful and worth any sort of negativity. We came on Valentine’s weekend with no reservations. So we waited about 20-25 minutes. Once they did seat up, it was in the very back by the kitchen. Once seated, we did wait a little bit to get drinks, and our food ordered. Once again, short staff, new staff, or it being abnormally busy… That’s our fault. The chef who came to our grill area looked an awful lot like the host who seated us. So I asked if he and the host were brothers. Long story short, the host was our chef! It was a fantastic habatchi experience. Great food with laughter. Two shrimp comes with most meals along with rice, noodles, soup, and vegetables. Once the meal was over, the chef came back and admitted he was not only the host but the owner. The owner knew how overwhelmed his staff was, how impatient the customers were, and stepped in to save the day! If you are hesitant about this restaurant due to poor reviews, don’t be. Give it a try, or give it another try and understand that the whole restaurant industry is struggling with staffing, wait times, and good reviews.

Took our daughter for her Birthday. Friendly staff. Chef was amazing. We got the hibachi so much fun watching it being made right there in front of us!! Food was great!!

I am not a sushi or a yum yum sauce person, but I enjoy Hibachi. Yet the food here lacks flavor and seasoning and all 3 beef dishes were overcooked. That said – the service is great, and the show is enjoyable. It makes for a fun dinner experience.

We had a reservation for 630pm and were seated right away at a hibachi table. The rest of the guests had hibachi. The chef took awhile to arrive but it was quite busy. The show was fun and entertaining. I had edamame; they were overcooked and I do not recommend. I also had the seaweed salad which was delicious and huge. Very much worth it. I ordered 2 spicy tuna rolls and one spicy salmon roll. Very delicious. Overall my bill was $36 with the tip. Not bad. I would recommend this location.
