Absolutely delicious experience! The lobster and crab rangoon were fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The California rolls were spot-on, and the chicken teriyaki was perfectly cooked and savory. Dessert was the perfect ending — the warm lava cake paired with vanilla ice cream was amazing, and the mochi ice cream was a great treat as well. The location is fantastic, and the ambiance really elevates the whole dining experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Fantastic dining experience! From the melt- in your mouth sashimi to flavorful rolls, every dish felt authentic.
The blend of contemporary Japanese decor and warm ambiance complimented by exceptional service made my dining experience worth every dollar.

Had a great experience at Shogun Legends. I ordered the spicy salmon roll and the paradise roll, along with a side of kimchi—everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The paradise roll especially stood out with its balanced kick and beautiful presentation.

We had hibachi for a party of 5 and it was delicious. The chef was entertaining and accommodating as we had a few in the group that could not eat garlic and he quickly pulled there items out and prepared them garlic free while the rest of us enjoyed our garlic. We made a reservation and our table was ready right on time!

This restaurant and all you could ask for for a celebratory dinner. There is plenty of parking and the facility is beautifully decorated. The food was goodto excellent.

We were there on a Wednesday night and the service was good . The food was tasty. The lamb chops were excellently done. The presentation of the barbecued squid, see picture, was beautiful.

My only complaint was the size of the portion with the crispy squid. The picture shows about half of the initial plate. Not quite adequate given the price.

I recommend this restaurant with the caveat that it is pricey, compared to the amount of the portions

I’m not usually a big fan of hibachi but Shogun is by far the best hibachi anywhere in NJ. All the proteins are super high quality (don’t sleep on the duck and scallops), the veggies are fresh, and the noodles/rice are not swimming in oil. The only thing better than the food is the service, and there is no one better than Mike. Mike goes out of his way to make sure you and your guests are having a great time and each time we dine there it’s like bumping into an old buddy. Highly recommend this place and if you’re doing hibachi upstairs ask to be seated in Mike’s section

This is our go to for sushi & date night. DANIELLE (bar staff) IS AWESOME! I cannot even begin to say how great she is. She always makes sure that everyone is taken care of. John (bar staff) is also great. We love the place, the food, the ambience & the service.

Stopped by for an early dinner tonight with no reservation. No problem, they seated us immediately in the dining room. Impressive building with an 1,800 gallon fish tank separating the bar area. It was well kept with beautiful fish, a good sign.
We skipped cocktails on a Tuesday and went for a 3 course meal. Started with Hot and Sour soup, which was excellent. Lots of content and tasted great.
We also had a sushi roll opting for the Romance Roll. Tuna, salmon, wrapped around rice in the shape of hearts, it was a work of art and delicious, exceeding our expectations. Definitely order again.
For dinner, we got two dishes to share. First was a special Singapore Mei Fun with shrimp. Nice thin rice noodles and listed as gluten-free. It’s just had a hint of spice. Second was Chicken Blosom served with white rice. Again, just a hint of spice. I would get it hotter next time.
Overall, the service was very good, the food was excellent and the restaurant had a fun atmosphere. We will be going back, maybe to try Hibachi next time.

So, here’s the deal. The place has a cool vibe, but let’s not get carried away—nothing too fancy, just a nice atmosphere. They’ve got sushi, Chinese, and hibachi, which is fine, I guess. It’s like they’re trying to give you options, like I’m supposed to be impressed. They’ve got this giant saltwater fish tank, which is… fine. It’s big, I’ll give them that, but let’s not act like it’s the main attraction here.

The food? Eh. It’s good, but we’re talking a solid 7.5 out of 10. I’m not writing home about it. The presentation’s nice, yeah, they’ve got that down, but for the price, I’m expecting a little more, you know? It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. And don’t get me started on the prices—way too much for what you’re getting. You’re paying for the experience of being there, I guess, not necessarily the food.

Service is fine, but again, nothing special. It’s a nice place, I’ll give them that. But I don’t know, for what you’re paying, it feels a little… overhyped. If you’re down the shore and want something decent, sure, this will do, but don’t expect the world. The menu could definitely use an update.

Shogun legends is the #1 hibachi place in New Jersey in my Opinion. Definitely deserves way more than just five stars. The The restaurant itself was extremely clean even the parking lot was very clean. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. Our server with also very friendly, welcoming, and on top of things. Our hibachi chef was out of this world he did an amazing Job with our food extremely tasty. The price of the food compared to other hibachi places in a little bit more expensive between $3 to $10 more per meal but well worth it… Not only do you get quality but you do get quantity as well my steak that I had ordered with the scallops was mouthwatering juicy tender just absolutely amazing the shrimp is cooked perfectly the rice and the noodles were absolutely amazing with the kids at them not to leave a crumb on their plates… The restaurant to court is very nice and pleasant not over the top they have an amazing saltwater fish tank on the first floor just a little bit past where you walk in.. We didn’t eat any sushi at this visit but they did have an amazing looking sushi bar with a few different chefs working hard at making fresh sushi. Overall experience was absolutely amazing and would definitely drive the hour it takes to get there to enjoy another great meal and great service.
