Got a side of rice for my little man and they made it into a cat! Honestly really liked this restaurant. They have a good variety of Japanese food and lots of sushi options. Well priced. We went on a Sunday night and it was quiet. Really good food. Definitely will come back.

I came here with a friend last minute and boy am I glad I did. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Even though we came in an hour before closing, they took great care of us so thank you for that. I ordered the yakitori and the highway 19 roll both were very tasty. This is a nice place to try if you’re looking for a new place to eat. I will definitely be coming back to try other items.

I will never eat here again. My boyfriend and I come here regularly on date night and usually love the food. We came in tonight and were told it was a small wait to get tables clean which was no problem. There was 1 table in front of us. A group of 3 came in after us and was told there was a 30 min wait. The lady in the group said that was ridiculous and they were regulars and should not have to wait. Lo and behold the next table that got sat they took the party of 3 to the table while we sat there still waiting. Then when I said something they acted clueless and said they are inexperienced with being busy and being on a wait list like that made it ok. All customers should be treated fairly and money is money. Apparently not at this restaurant.

I can’t believe i’m just now leaving a review because my friends, family and I have been coming here for years. Helen, Iris, and Corrine are so kind and thoughtful and make us feel at home every time. The food never disappoints and is always fresh. Sometimes it takes us hours to leave because of how cozy the atmosphere is LOL. Thank you Shogun team for everything!! Your hard work does not go unnoticed ❤️❤️

We normally order takeout from here every few weeks, but I will no longer. A few weeks ago, they forgot to make our order. I had to wait another 40 minutes after getting there to pick up. Tonight they cancelled our order and when we got there, they simply said they are too busy…. Who turns down business at a restaurant in the economy. Now, I’d rather take my business elsewhere.

First time coming here. We wanted to try someplace new and came here based on the written reviews online. Went on Valentine’s Day and they had lovely decorations for the occasion. It is a very spacious, clean, nicely layed out restaurant. We had 2 appetizers and 2 full Hibachi Dinners. The miso soup was hot and delicious and the salad was very fresh and the homemade ginger dressing was exceptional! Honestly everything was so fresh and delicious! Very ample servings. For me, next time I will order sauces on the side as the sauce it was cooked in was a little to heavy for me, but that’s just me. Hubs loved that!… Their fried rice is very unique. I’ve never had fried rice like it before. It was flavorful but light!….. We’ll be back again and hope that other’s will give it a try. Oh…. the server’s are excellent! Very kind and attentive.
