I went to Shogun Japanese Steakhouse on 1/2/26 for my birthday. I never been to Shogun. I enjoyed it very much. I ordered chicken egg rolls for my appetizers. My entree was hibachi steak, chicken, and shrimp with mushroom soup and saladw/ ginger dressing. The food was very good. For one person there was so much food I had to take 1/2 of it home in two boxes (that’s a good thing). It was my lunch the next day. My server was very nice and attentive. She was friendly and answered my questions with thorough explanations. This restaurant is decorated well with Japanese artwork. A long time ago this location was a Ci Ci”s pizza restaurant, but Shogun has done a very good job with its modern look. I wanted to eat at a hibachi table, but I got there before 6 pm, there was only one hibachi chef and he was cooking for other people. I was told I would have to wait a while. The room has a section with the hibachi tables and a section with regular tables and the bar. I chose to eat at a regular table (booth) so I didn’t have to wait. They have a great menu. Highly recommended. Look at their online menu.

The chef and waitress were both fabulous. However my Hawaiian sushi was overly spicy and my habichi was overly salty. I’ll probably not return for another year or more. Everything else was great the waitress was very professional and so was the chef. The chef just used too much salt.

Rice tasted like cardboard, steak was so chewy, veggies were doused In teriyaki sauce. Have never been to any hibachi that did that. Almost put it on my shrimp til I told him not to. We didn’t even box up our left over it was that bad. My tea was so warm I had to ask for a cup of ice. Which the waiter kept forgetting. The waiter was the only good part about the experience. And he was so nervous, could tell he was new. They started cleaning up around us before we even finished our food. Spraying down the table we were sitting at , emptying the food dump bin , still had almost an hour before closing. I asked the woman to stop cleaning our table and spraying while we were still eating and she refused. Terrible place, terrible food.

I got Shrimp lo mein combo and the noodles were not regular sized they were huge and tasted not good. Shrimp was over cooked. I’m very sad I paid 9.50 for such low quality food. I couldn’t even eat it all. I just ate the shrimp.

I placed an order through DoorDash. When I got there, my order was already ready. One of the workers greeted me kindly. This was my first time ordering from this place. My order was correct everything is in the bag, and the food was amaaaazingg!! My husband and I loved it! We are definitely going to go there to dine in sometime because I want to try their other food options! I got chicken teriyaki katsu and Chicken Hibachi Dinner with choice of noodles a side of veggies and an onion soup was also added. i looooooove the onion soup so yummy.

Shogun off of Ramsey Street is sooo yummy. We went on Sunday for dinner and grabbed some apps, sushi, and hibachi for our family of 5. The apps were great we got shrimp, pork dumplings, and sushi. The King Roll was absolutely delicious! We had the Salmon and Lobster Hibachi which was excellent! The children’s menu offered hibachi and our kids enjoyed the chicken and steak hibachi with fried rice. The kids portions are a great size and all the food made perfect leftovers. We really had a lovely experience and hope you do too! The lunch menu looked fantastic as well!

Went here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The food was delicious and great service. Our chef was friendly and there was no wait time. Will certainly visit again. We had the steak, shrimp, salmon, scallops, and chicken. Also had calamari appetizer, it was all perfect. Salad could be larger though, really small bowl. Veggies were good as well.

Another successfu lovely night. Didn’t disappoint. Great service once again. Quickly brought the food out. Just had sushi and soup. Food was delicious and mouth watering. Waitress was very attentative. Can’t say I’ve had a bad service from the hibachi or walk in dine in side.
