We had a good time with the Hibachi chef tonight celebrating a couple of birthdays. My first time coming here and the food was excellent. The “show” was good, but that will be greatly influenced by the group you are sitting with. Audience participation is strongly encouraged and you should try to put your most flamboyant person directly in front of the chef. It will be better for everyone! We tried the Teppanyaki steak, chicken and shrimp. All of which was excellent. The old fashioned and the mojito mule left a lot to be desired, so I can’t speak highly of the cocktails that we tried. Food servings were large and value was definitely there. We will be back!

Shout out to our server Arisha! She was very polite, professional and attentive!
Excellent sashimi 5kinds sampler. The slices were traditional! Love the fresh wasabi!
Had the Lobster bento with fried rice, love the fried rice and the lobster was yummy! It came with shrimp tempura and veggies but not a fan of the batter mix. Rangoon was good. Veggies was plenty serving. Love the soup and salad that came with it!
My son had calamari bento box. He loved it!
We were lucky to be able to watch Hibachi on the other side of the restaurant the show was fabulous!
Excellent space and the bar shelves was unique. They give military discount!!! Thank you so much!!!

My partner and I have always loved eating here, except for the last time we went (just a few days ago). Our server, Tom, brought our silverware & dishware before our food… both of our soy sauce dishes were visibly dirty, and my partner’s fork had something sticky on, which caused it to stick to his napkin! Umm….YUCK! So we ask for clean ones.
Then, my partner finished his green tea early on, but the waiter didn’t return to our table until my drink was empty and we were obviously done eating. My partner had placed his empty cup at the edge of the table to indicate that he needed a refill, but it didn’t make a difference. When the waiter came to refill my drink, I said to refill his first because he’d been waiting nearly the entire time we were eating for a refill. This was by far our WORST experience at a restaurant. I’m sure we will go again, but we’ll be walking out if this happens again. This place is too expensive to be giving out filthy dishes!!

We had an amazing experience tonight, and it was all thanks to NS. He was absolutely outstanding, professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcomed and taken care of.
His recommendations were perfect, his timing impeccable, and his positive energy truly elevated our entire dinner. Service like this is rare — NS is truly one of the best servers we’ve ever had.
We will definitely be coming back!

Our normal go to place was Nagoya, we discovered they are closed for good now. Everyone was super pumped up for Hibachi so we decided to try the Cedar Park Shogun location. Holy cow it did NOT disappoint. The decor and atmosphere are pristinely clean and modern, bright and light so it seems more spacious and open which gives it a happy ambiance. Our server Sophia was fantastic, she was so polite and sweet to my kids as well as anytime we needed her she was already there filling up drinks, taking away bowls or plates we didnt need or making sure we were good. I love Hibachi and have been going to many of them all over the place since I was a kid and Wilson our chef was the first time we’d ever been fully entertained. From the singing about all the different foods and our “Justin Beiber yummy yummy sauce” to making my 2 year old light up by singing “Baby Shrimp.” Even as a chain, they are doing it right. Not to mention, their food was absolutely delicious and flavorful. We ordered several sushi rolls, chicken Hibachi, Filet and Shrimp Hibachi, they even have a Kids Filet which my daughter couldnt get enough of. The cherry on top was the balloon hats they gave my boys as we were leaving. We will DEFINITELY be coming back.

Took grandchildren to Shogun for dinner. We were seated promptly to hibachi table by friendly staff in a pretty well packed Shogun Restaurant. Food was a bit on the salty side but otherwise good. Portions were quite generous. Ended up taking some home.

We really enjoyed our visit to Shogun. The hibachi experience was fun and engaging, and the food was delicious—from perfectly cooked steak and seafood to fresh, well-made sushi. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable. Great place for a casual dinner or special occasion. Highly recommend!

Our experience last Sunday was exceptional, largely thanks to Chef Happi. Having dined at many similar restaurants, including Benihana in California, I can confidently say his performance was truly unique. His engaging personality, interactive style, and positive energy made our dinner unforgettable. The food was also superb – succulent and delicious. We received excellent service from Sophia, and the male host’s kind gesture who gave my daughter’s some inflatable ears brightened my daughters’ day. Shogun provided an outstanding dining experience, and I highly recommend requesting Chef Happi for a truly joyful meal!
Thank you, Shoguns, for an incredible time!!!!!
