Its quite over priced. We probably wont ho back for two people it costs us 140.00. To me thats highly over priced…. I imagine the bill for our table was over 1000
Thats 6 couples 2 young adults.. spending that kind of money is rediculous to eat!
I then checked the menu and no where did it claim the Cowgirl roll even had an ‘Avacado sauce.’ The manager then came to our table and said since I took half a bite of a piece they could not remove it off my bill as all sales are final. (No sale has been made) I explained that the menu didn’t even mention avocado sauce and she said “That’s fair but unfortunately the best I can do is 10% off” I asked what the sauce was at that point since it clearly wasn’t “avocado sauce” and she said “They just make their own sauce back there and it has sprite?” My group was so uncomfortable with the exchange that I just decided to pay and get out of there. I asked the front for info for the GM or owner and was told to Google it.
To be clear I am the GM of a restaurant and would never leave a review this way if it wasn’t absolutely necessary but the entire exchange was extremely unprofessional. I paid $49 and $20 of it was the roll that didn’t get eaten and was removed by the server.
When we arrived, we were informed that we couldn’t be seated until the other couple we were expecting had arrived. We asked if we could order drinks while we waited, but the hostess told us there was no bartender available. I mentioned that it was a birthday celebration and inquired about arranging something special, like a small cake or ice cream, after our meal. She confirmed it could be done for an extra charge, which I agreed to, and she assured me she would take care of it.
Once seated, we placed our drink orders. The two gentlemen with us ordered drinks—one with a double shot of whiskey and Coke, and the other with a double shot of vodka and Coke. When the waitress brought the drinks, they seemed to contain no alcohol. We asked her to return, and she insisted she had made them with alcohol herself. We then requested the manager, who verified there was no alcohol in the drinks and agreed to take them back. The gentlemen then requested two glasses of Coke, along with separate shots of vodka and whiskey. Initially, the waitress refused, but after consulting the manager again, she returned with two short glasses, one with vodka and one with whiskey. Despite her claims that they were doubles, it was evident they were not, as our photos clearly show.
After our meal, I went to the restroom while we settled the bill. I stopped the waitress to ask about the birthday item we had requested. She said the hostess hadn’t informed her. My husband and our guests were already ready to leave, but I stayed behind to speak with the hostess. She understood I was unhappy. I reminded her of my earlier request for the birthday surprise and her agreement to the additional charge, which I had accepted. She admitted she remembered but had simply forgotten. This oversight would be understandable if they were busy, but they weren’t; she had been chatting with the same colleague since our arrival.
This was, undoubtedly, the worst service I’ve experienced at this restaurant. The only praise I can offer is to the chef, who truly deserves five stars for the outstanding food. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing and dishonest.
The attached photos were taken at our home. I want everyone to see how they overcharge you without delivering what you pay for.
Never received salads or soups. They have little things on the table with the salt and pepper and a light to see the menu, which is pretty neat. When the bus boy went to clean up after a table left, he never picked them up to clean under them. There was food and crumbs underneath of it. There was also a huge mess of food on the floor left by the customers, and they didnt clean it up for the next person. Also, we got the egg rolls and they were ice cold.
When we sit at the hibachi grill I have witnessed them using a spatula with raw chicken all over and touching the open butter and other foods with it. Not super stoked.
