Considering the dearth of restaurant options in Brownfield, this is easily 5 stars. Friendly service, clean environment, and tasty food. It’s the first Japanese restaurant I’ve been to with no chopsticks on the tables, and I wasn’t given a knife to cut the fish either. Too much rice, not enough vegetables. So they’d get less than 5 stars in a more competitive market. But given the location, good food at a reasonable price with friendly service makes it easily 5 stars.

Very good food and clean place. Our chef actually gave us sauce right away which many other Japanese restaurants won’t do and some never even give you sauce. But the food was good and so was the soup. The chef was talking with us the whole time he was making food which made things more enjoyable. One of the Top 3 Japanese restaurants is this one.

Service is terrible! We waited for about an hour for our food! The wait is unacceptable. Food was mediocre it was served lukewarm. From the temp it must’ve been waiting to be served for a good while. If this is the new normal then I won’t be back any time soon.

18 July 25. Friendly and prompt service from the staff. Chicken and shrimp were dry and overcooked. Dumplings, springrolls, and fried wonton were pretty good. Overall too pricey for the quality.

We love their chicken teriyaki, steak and shrimp teriyaki, it’s very good and the rice with the yum yum sauce over the rice is Delicious and it only takes about 15 minutes to order take out. The price for take out is much cheaper then dining in but also they are not doing dine-in now. They have not bin doing dine-in ever since the pandemic started pretty much, but overall I would have to say this place is a great choice to get your food at.

Shogun’s is one of our favorite places to eat. We eat there fairly often and have never left disappointed or hungry! We always go for lunch, the price is incredibly reasonable for the amount of food you get!! We have a favorite chef, who is amazing, but all of them do a good job.

Ordered a hibachi meal. The fish we ordered had been cooked, then cooked some more,and then finished off by cooking again. It was so tough it wasn’t chewable. The server tried to tell us that Mahi is a tough fish!
