Visited 4/21/24. This place is a gem! We ordered 2 hot dogs and Pineapple dole whip. I do have to say the hot dogs were not as hot as I expected them to be, mostly just warm but still delicious. Simple menu, which I liked. The employees were very friendly. We ate there. The place was clean, tables were not dirty or sticky.

Our family checked the time for shack snack shop which read 8:30. We even called to make sure that was correct and the recording was stated the same. When we walked inside at 7:55 we were made aware that it hadn’t been updated and that they close at 8. At the time they were serving the customer who walked in just a minute before us. They let us know they couldn’t serve us because they already close their drawer. Very unfortunate customer service.

We thought shiver shack closed at 9 but it closed at 8:30 & we arrived at 8:25. The gentleman working was so kind and told us it was totally fine to go ahead and order snow cones! We felt so bad showing up so close to closing but he assured us it was ok to go ahead and order. We really appreciated his kindness. And the snow cones were so delicious!

OMG their pretzels just can’t be beat!! Those are like my favorite food group so I’ve had them from more restaurants than I can count. Shiver Shack has the best in the US for sure!! The strawberry shortcake is a must try as well!

We ordered a few things, but the thing that stood out to me is definitely their “Dole.” It is very delicious, and I don’t think there’s anything that quite compares to it. We ordered just strawberry dole whip, and it was phenomenal. Customer service was amazing, and they had our order ready in a matter of seconds! The atmosphere was nice as well, but I would definitely love to see more decorations in the future.
