Went to the market in Homer and came across their booth; cannot recommend enough it’s so delicious. We got their daily curry, aloo-gobi it’s a vegan curry with potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, yams, and ginger in a yellow curry sauce. Freaking bomb! If you haven’t already, go try them out!

Normally at festivals there is tons of fried food and I can not eat. Shiva Boom has THE most delicious vegan options with blasts of flavor and enormous quantities at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and food made in front of your eyes☀️YUM!

This is a good truck with nowhere to sit and don’t. They are located next to a cider house that makes you buy there too if you want to sit there to eat food. The cider was good but not offered by Shiva Boom.
Parking is terrible, on a hill with no room to turn a bigger vehicle around. It’s a dirt lot, so cooking into here on a rainy day is a nightmare.
Food: not the usual Indian food you would expect. But their falafel is pretty good. Their chutney is not very good. Their portion size leaves much to be desired especially for the price. There are so many local options in Homer to gather food and resources that I feel like they could have done more locally sourced ingredients.
Service: it’s a food truck. They did not provide any cutlery, napkins, or drink options. Although drink options were offered by the cider/mead house next door.

Shiva Boom – Great Veggie Spot in Homer
Really enjoyed our meal at Shiva Boom. The falafel was excellent—crisp and flavorful, honestly as good as some of the best I’ve had in Israel. The curry was also very tasty, comforting and well-spiced. We ended with a Nutella banana wrap, which was a fun and delicious dessert. Everything was fresh, vegetarian, and clean. A great stop if you’re in the area.

Crunchy, flavorful samosas. Buttery naan. I’ll be coming back for the curry. Always busy now , but worth the longer wait.
