I like to consider myself a sushi snob (been to Japan 3 times) and this place is one of the closest I’ve found to out there quality wise. Their fish is so damn fresh, it’s not one of those places that needs to drown it in sauce to hide the flavors because the fish actually tastes amazing. The employees are freaking awesome. Super friendly and they memorize what you like if you come often enough

It is just ok. The roll selection is limited. A lot of cooked/baked type rolls. Sushi is good but smaller cuts. The Wasabi is grainy and not very hot. I had the house special roll, a spider cut roll, and some sushi with 2 beers. 87 dollars and change. I asked if they have a cash discount and they said yes. Hit back 12 and change. I asked about the discount she said, “no I’m sorry”. I needed a receipt that took 15 min for them to hand write one. Summary- food just ok. Chefs were great service. Floor servers not good service. Expensive for what you get. I won’t come back. Parking lot is super sketchy with homeless and people loitering/drinking by liquor store.

The place outside looks nothing like the inside. Really nice place. Well kept and clean. The drinks are canned or Mexican bottles. The wait staff was super friendly. The tempura had the right amount of crunchy. Everyone in my party enjoyed the food.

I decided to check the place out since I was close by and was craving a bento box, but they didn’t have the fried veggies or fried shrimp that typically come in a bento box.
The staff was friendly, but the restaurant itself was really warm. I ordered a salmon plate and it looked really pretty, but was a small portion, and I felt a little pricier than most other sushi spots that sell the teriyaki bowls and the miso soup had absolutely no flavor to it. The salmon was OK, but like I said a very small piece the rice was decent. It’s kind of hard to mess up white rice. The teriyaki sauce was great. The salad was OK. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the salad dressing at this particular location.

Allow me to express my genuine enthusiasm for this exceptional sushi establishment. It surpasses the likes of high-priced sushi spots such as Sugarfish or Katsuya. It stands out as a true gem within the valley and deserves your utmost attention. Though it may appear unassuming as a hole-in-the-wall establishment, its charm is undeniable, making it an irresistible destination to frequently visit time and time again. The pricing is fair and reasonable, while the staff exudes kindness and warmth. Being a family-owned business, it holds a wholesome story that adds an extra layer of appreciation to the overall experience. My family goes here weekly- we are regulars 🙂

First time here. Ginger tasted like cleaner. Signature roll is awesome but a bit steep for what it is.
Servers and staff are very professional and are friendly. I feel they could come to the table more often to see how I’m doing.
TIP: If you come here there is limited parking so the night time is better when more businesses are closed.
Order house special roll. Tempura is also good but a bit high for what yoi get.

Shiso “House” Roll which comes with: Salmon, tuna , yellowtail, crab & avocado wrapped w/cucumber (no rice) was perfect.
Baked Scallops roll was the best ever.
The other two we tried were not that great. Baked Salmon Roll, not enough Salmon.
Chirashi – Assorted sashimi over a bed of sushi rice, I didn’t like the fish, especially Tuna.

Rock shrimp tempura was really good. Salmon nigiri, salmon sashimi, & salmon belly nigiri melts in your mouth. Rolls are a good size. We had the Alaskan roll, Rainbow roll, and Lemon roll… they were all good and tasty. I would have given 5 stars but the karaage & sauce and salad dressing were not good plus they don’t have everything they serve listed on their menu. Also, the waitresses were unprofessional chit chatting with each other in plain sight when the chefs kept trying to call them over to pick up our order from the counter.

I came here because of the reviews but that was the worst mistake. First of everything on the menu you have to figure out what i’m there. The server didn’t know, so we kept looking up what’s in the roll online. I just ordered anything cause I got tired of looking everything up and I ended up picking something with eel and I can’t eat that.
I just paid for everything and it came out to be over 60 for food I didn’t get to enjoy. Personally i’d say go somewhere else sushi wasn’t good, finding anything on the menu is you researching what’s in there, and the food made me sick.
