Im super excited about shiso coming to this location. The waterfront needs this patio to bring back some energy to this sleepy cornor. Can’t wait to see what menus they cook up. Does anyone have a eta on the opening date?

Excellent traditional Japanese food while also putting their own little twist to the dishes. Loved the vibe of the restaurant and would definitely recommend the short rib.

No question my favorite Asian spot in Scottsdale! I was legitimately impressed by the food, and has certainly the most interesting and creative menu I’ve seen anywhere in a while. We tried multiple appetizers, sushi rolls, sashimi, mains, rice/noodle dishes…every single item was a hit (particularly the appetizers). It’s wayyy beyond just a sushi spot.
Stunning outdoor space too…probably the best patio in Old Town.
No exaggeration, I was excited the next day after to eat the left overs. My new top recommendation.
