The menu? Think of it as the Central location’s cooler, slightly more ambitious cousin. Familiar, but with a few surprises that make you do a double take (in a good way).
The outdoor seating is a vibe. Whether you’re people-watching or just soaking in the buzz, the ambiance matches the energy of the food, electric and effortlessly cool. Inside, it’s cozy and lively, even if the space is a bit more snug. One bar’s slinging drinks, the other’s dishing out food, though rumor has it, they’re merging forces soon. Avengers-style.
We had a chance to chat with the owner, Ronica, and let’s just say: if passion could be plated, she’d be serving tasting menus. You can feel the love and hustle behind every dish.
Now, the food:
* The Lobster Rangoon was rich and creamy, but if you’re lobster hunting, bring a magnifying glass. More cream cheese than crustacean, but still delish.
* The soup dumplings were like if French onion soup and a bao had a beautiful baby. That charred cheese top? Genius. A bit more onion inside and we’re talking perfection.
* Crispy chicken bao buns? Say less. Just order them.
Yes, the wait times were a bit long, but hey, it’s an opening. Great things take time (and this team’s clearly cooking up something special).
We’ll definitely be back. Probably with friends. Probably hungry.
Service is always the best, and the food is literally #1 in my Top 3 favorite St Pete eatery’s!
