We ordered 3 meals to go around 8:45 pm last week. The french fries were terrible and the gyro meat was very dry. We did not enjoy this food at all and will not go back. I don’t know if it has to do with the fact that they were close to closing but still paid for food we feel should have been good.

A small place with great tasty Mediterranean food. There’s not a lot of space inside but it feels a cordial and cozy environment. The menu gives you a lot of options, I chose beef kofte over rice. The food felt freshly made and delicious. The service is fast and the staff is super friendly. I’d definitely go back to eat here again. PS. There’s a municipal parking lot two blocks away.

I just tried Shish Kebab Grill again. One star is to too high. Dreadful food. Everything was tasteless, canned or just plain horrible. I’ll never go back. They don’t even deserve negative five stars.

My family and I have eaten here often when we visit. The food is always excellent! Last night was so special as our NY family member turned 97 last week so we all had dishes that she recommended. The beef was so tender, lamb was wonderful as well as chicken. They have a special lemon chicken soup and a lentil soup as well. So good! I’ve eaten at other Greek restaurants in Birmingham, AL and Shish Kabob Grill has the best hummus that I’ve ever eaten. Ditto for the rice pudding! This is a family owned restaurant and this family loves their clientele and it shows. Service is impeccable! I enjoy everything about Shish Kabob Grill!

Phenomenal Mediterranean cuisine. The chicken Shish kebab dinner or the Chicken Kofte dinner are my Go-to’s. Each dinner is complimented with your choice of soup or salad. I stop by in once a day to enjoy myself a meal. Out of 10 I would rate this restaurant a 11. Yes it’s that good!
