Cozy spot! The building is absolutely adorable and the food inside is even better. We chose a few baked goods but in conversation at check out learned that the most popular items are the cinnamon and raspberry rolls. We will absolutely be returning to try those! I can’t count how many times me and my family have been to Shirley’s over the years and every time I go I find something that just hits the spot.
They have amazing pastries, cookies, tarts, pies, breads, bars, you name it they have it.
What makes Shirley’s unique and set apart from other bakeries are their rolls. They have blueberry rolls, orange rolls, raspberry rolls and their classic cinnamon rolls. If you haven’t tried them I cannot recommend them enough.
They hit different and are to die for.
Shirley’s also has a fun, warm and inviting atmosphere and smells amazing when you walk in.
Oh and one last thing, I don’t know if they still have it but you can ask if they have any day old pastries for sell because they did offer discounts at one point for the old inventory, but I’m not entirely sure if they still do.

It’s such a cute, homey place. Got the special and a ham & Swiss sandwich. The bread was very good, so soft. The rolls were perfect they gave one with the soup. I ordered broccoli cheese, was very bland added salt and pepper, and helped. The ham sandwich was super messy. There was about double the mayo spread than needed. It made the sandwich hard to eat. It was great tasting just too much, mayo. I only ate half brought the rest home, which probably will be too soggy to eat later. There is no kids menu, but the special was grilled cheese. He loved it. The sugar cookie minis are good, but I wish it was just a little softer. I’m excited to try the cinnamon rolls.

I lived in Orem for 20 years and loved their cinnamon rolls. I now live in Lehi so it has been a few years since I had been to Shirley’s. November 2025 I bought pumpkin bread and cinnamon rolls. The rolls tasted like bread with frosting on it – very small cinnamon flavor. The pumpkin bread was dry. I put them in the freezer- maybe my kids will eat it – in time I will throw out. The pumpkin bread I threw away. Today I was thinking of the change in quality and googled to see if change in ownership- YES. I guess that is the reason why the quality has gone down. My last time at Shirley’s.

Love Shirleys. Their sweet rolls are amazing. My favorite are the lemon and the raspberry sweet rolls. Such fun flavors and they are so soft and delicious. Their sandwiches and salads are also so good. We tried a breakfast sandwich which we really liked because it had great flavor and didn’t have an egg in it which is pretty unusual for a breakfast sandwich.

This isn’t necessarily a food review. We went to give our kids the BYU football pregame experience. We didn’t have tickets for the game. I went in and spoke with Dani the manager and she reassured us we wouldn’t get towed as the towing begins when the game begins. We were gone for 45 min to 1 hour, two hours before the start of the game and our car was gone. Our car had been towed. We went in to talk with Dani and she was AMAZING. She was not happy as this has happened to other people. She got to action and got on the phone with her boss and the owner. Dani took care of us as we were with our kids. She gave us free drinks and treats. The cinnamon rolls are really good. That was my first time trying their cinnamon rolls and they were on point. We will be returning for more cinnamon rolls. We were impressed with how Dani handled the tough situation. She kept us updated and informed about what was going on. They were simply amazing and helped resolve the situation. Shirleys care about their customers sincerely. Please go and support them they are quality people. Thank you Dani and all that were involved at Shirleys!!
