A Japanese restaurant run by non-Japanese chefs but has credits from Japanese government for Japanese cooking. The food quality is fresh, especially the sashimi. The egg rolls are also authentic. What I would like to complain is its service and environment. I simply asked to have a little bit of sushi rice to come with the sashimi as I prefer to have sashimi plate instead of chirashi plate. Because I want to eat a little bit of rice but not a lot, no that much as that in Chirashi, and I ordered the most expensive sashimi plate on the menu. All I want is maybe just two tea spoon of sushi rice. And they declined my request so I have to pay for a whole bowl of hot rice without vinegar, and the rice is not very well cooked: it is very hard, not at all the quality of a Japanese rise. Second, the restaurant is very small and I changed from outside seats to inside seats because it is very cold outside. Guess what? After I moved in the staff left the big gate behind me wide open! Don’t they see that I am wearing my coat all the time? The only place that is warm is in the toilet.
I must say all these points make my dinner experience not very comfortable. We eat in a restaurant not only for food but also for the service and attention paid by the restaurant.

Maybe the best sushi place in Athens. A gem in Nikis street, close to Syntagma. We ordered salmon teriyaki, chiraki sushi, unagi and philadelpeia in out sushi and sake. Everything was so fresh and high quality. Best choice for business lunch or romantic dinner. Lovely atmosphere.

My wife and I tried this Japanese restaurant tonight and it was awesome! The fish fresh and tasty, Miso soup was abundant and worth the steep price and service was fast. My wife is from Japan and really enjoyed.

Amazing food, really authentic Japanese food, nice staff and fast service.
I super recommend the salmon tartar, the foam with wasabi and shoyu is amazing. I also tried the tempura udon and it was really good!!

Sunday and lunch time with friends to this Japanese restaurant in downtown Athens…. We decided to take different plates of sushi.. normal sushi.. spicy sushi.. sushi with eel.. green salad which had a great sauce and last but not least fried chicken.. we didn’t have time to taste any dessert.. but on the other hand we taste Japanese beer.. it was not the best not the worst sushi place.. just a normal place..

I have been to Japan. Had sushi at Tsukiji Fish Market. Sushi is my favorite food. I would fly back to Greece just to have this sushi, chicken karage, and teriyaki chicken don again. I will dream of you my lovely Shiraki!

Late at night we were looking for a good and interesting restaurant and when we asked if it was open they said of course. They immediately arranged a table for us and when we received the menu I saw interesting dishes that I had not come across since visiting Japan. All the food was fresh and authentic and the produce felt very fresh. George the host received us with a beautiful hospitality. He told us stories and made us feel very warm which we needed. I give the restaurant 5 stars because the hospitality, food and service were of the highest quality. Highly recommended!
